OK, so I'm finishing dinner and the doorbell rings . . .

My father in law and my mother in law walk in. He's carrying a long brown box. As he walks into the kitchen I get a glimpse of the writing on the box. It has a large TC on it. He walks over to me and hands me this long brown box with a TC on it and says Merry Christmas. I'm holding this box and I look it over. It turns out he bought me a new Thompson Center Impact 50cal muzzleloader with fiber optic sights for Christmas. I'm like :O and then I was speechless and said . . . er . . . ah . . . . thank you. Wasn't sure what else to say but I knew why he did this.

I'm certainly going to enjoy using it this weekend. :P

I shoot 90 grains of blackhorn 209 a 240 grain .430 hornady xtp in a harvestor crush rib sabot> ( I buy both in bulk and put them together) I use a cci regular 209 primer. Accuracy is great and knock down power is more than enough.

Thanks for the tip bubba.
