Elmo
??? Not sure what you're asking for. I was going to buy the Henry Lever Action Frontier Model in .22WMR but cancelled the order due to the 5 round limit in NYC.
Skillet
Are you sure you want the mag? It's a big difference in ammo cost for not that big a difference in performance. Is it a specific model you would like?

Guides ForHire
if you are talking about the singel shot lever that ithaca made it is the model 49, you remember right. they turn up in the shops time to time when old coon hunters pass away, usually $100-$150 which for a single shot is a little steep in my book. they used to be everywhere for $40-$50 used right after they stopped making them in the late 70s
nyazhunter
I have an Ithaca single shot .22 purchased in the mid 60's from GLF (Agway) for I think about $21. Don't know the model number . Great way to learn to shoot .

I have a Ithaca model 72 saddle gun lever action 22 mag. I bought it back in the 60's, mine is not for sale. I did see one at a gun show, so they are still available. Grouse
You might want to look at what's for sale on www.gunbroker.com I've yet to look on there and not find what I was looking for. Edited January 10, 2012 by Grouse
NYDeer
http://www.gunsamerica.com has a few Ithaca 49's up, but all in .22..
Pygmy
I had an Ithaca 49 in .22 LR... Cute little rifle, but mine was not very accurate, at least not compared to the Winchester M69 I owned...I eventually peddled it, along with its saddle scabbard. I had forgotten that they made them in .22 magnum..
Buckwild96
I would recomd a henry .22/mag because th actin(lever) is very smooth and rarly jams. Also its very accurate because i have shot them before and have a great time doin so.
