nyslowhand
Been alot of sniper documentaries on the History channel, but I don't recall his name. Doesn't mean he wasn't mentioned. Have to look for the book! Takes a very unique person to want to train as a sniper. And to serve 4 tours in Iraq or Afganistan doing it is unbelievable. They get into a lot of life threatening situations & not to mention always have bounties on their heads. Can only imagine what they go through back in the US after all those war-time adreneline high situations.

Doc
Can only imagine what they go through back in the US after all those war-time adreneline high situations. That's what I was wondering about as I watched the program. How does a guy go from doing something like that with the constant adrenalin rush to holding down a 9-to-5 job in society? Do they ever really get successfully re-absorbed into society?

I'm sure most go into law enforcement, or stay in and retire.
