U guys using grunt or can calls this late

I haven’t been using them , should I

I leaned over about 10 minutes ago and my butt let out a grunt way louder than i expected. I'll let you know if any deer come in.

I coughed once with a whole bunch of gloves and fabric covering my mouth trying not to make any noise and a 2 1/2 year old 7pt came running at me to his death. There isn't a rule book for this. It's listening on these forums to other hunters experiences and using your past to make the best choices you can. Personally I dont call much unless I have some deer hung up I can see and they won't come my way. I like deer to feel safe and in their natural environment it seems the easiest way to get them to do it dirty.

This buck owes his current position (deer heaven) to his Maker and this grunt call.  I was thankful to be involved in the transaction 2 weeks ago.  I can't imagine why they would not still work today, although I left mine home because I don't think they will work for does.

I think soft grunts are regular language.... I just dont hear it often in nature. Do your thing

Update - shortly after I posted that, 2 doe did come in to about 20 yards!

Now that I think about it, yes! Must've been the pie I had after supper the night before that brought 'em in...
