i seen 112 deer today

i took a walk around tift farms nature preserve today.i hiked around for 3 hrs man i wish i wouldve brought my camera. i seen 112 deer only one set of antlers a 8pt still holding his rack. the biggest group i seen was a group of 27 deer then some other groups of 15 or so here and there. it was a very nice relaxing walk.

Nice- I'd have lost count at 22 when I ran out of fingers and toes!

In a way, it's nice to see a population that calls the city limits home. When I lived in South Buffalo that park was my little after work oasis.

There's a lot of nice deer there along Furham Blvd. & Ohio st. area! We see many when going fishing all summer in the early Am. You can see the runs coming down under the fenceing to cross the road, sure would like to get in there ! Turkeys too.

it really is nice having a population like that in the city. its nice to be able to take a few minute ride from home and walk for a while and see some nice wild life. i told the wife the next day that im not doing anything and its above40 degrees im gonna take my 2 and a half year old son over there he would love it just as much.

ive never really fished down that spot to much how is it down there? do you do any musky or pike fishing down there?

geno it was crazy they were every where and since its a nature preserve they let you walk to with in 10 yards of most of them.

really? lol

thats how hecksher state park was by me. they would let you get close.... Times like that make you wonder what it would be like to sit in your stand and see 50 plus deer walk past in one sitting lol
