G-Man 8055
Decided I need to build a new barn. Lucky i have a snice stand of Norway spruce and white pine. Tall trees with no. Thermal cover properties, leaving the tops and piling few limbs need to remove, see have started bedding under and against the tops in a couple of days. Lots of young seedings been starving for light . Averaging 5 10ft logs out of a tree, most average 20 in and a few are pushing 32. . Board and batton to be cut and dried hopeful for construction this summer and truss/ lumber prices drop a bit today's work this load already left for millworking on this load ,about 10 more logs to skid out Snow has been kind of a pain for dragging logs out but nearly done. Im.sure the rabbits will enjoy the limb piles as well

UpStateRedNeck 1868
Nice! I need to get a pole barn up soon to keep my equipment in. Definitely before i invest in a decent tractor. How do you have less snow out there than we do? I've been itching for a month now to do some land work.

But don't hold your breathe on the price of lumber dropping......it's up there to stay for good....or at least a long while.Sent from my SM-A716V using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-A716V using Tapatalk It's 90%+Hemlock, not as nice as you'd hope. That being said, any proceeds go towards the "Fix the damn road" fund! Not counting on it, but it would nice and move my "Nice Cabin" plans forward a year or two. Some of that money is going to go back to the logger to clear a few plots on the side of the hill.
