rob-c
Built a new bench and used some left over vinyl plank flooring for the top. I didn’t like having my presses bolted permanently to the bench. So I had some 2 inch squared tubing laying around and I bought a harbor freight receiver hitch that bolts to a bumper and bolted it to the bottom of my bench . Drilled a hole and welded on a nut and installed a thumb screw to tighten when I install the press . Welded a piece of angle iron to the squared tubing and bolted on some left over pieces of 2x6 for the press mount. Works pretty good I’m very happy with it z
mlammerhirt
Awesome.....i like how it can be removed when not in use. I plan on borrowing the idea for my rock chuckar press. Can you take another pick of where you welded on the angle iron?Sent from my SM-A716V using Tapatalk
DDT
I like the Lee turret press. Had mine nearly 40 years. Still working good. Looks like you have a few.

Sent from my SM-A716V using Tapatalk Sure can, I used bed liner to coat the steel and wood . The angle iron is actually old bed frame rails I had laying around . This is the hitch receiver I bought . https://www.harborfreight.com/3500-lb-step-bumper-receiver-69673.html I also welded up a storage rack for my presses. Yep I have zero complaints about my (cheap) turret press. I load all my handgun rounds on it and have no problems shooting 100 yards with my 44 accurately with them.I reload my rifle on my single stage and the little C - press has a Lyman universal de-capper that I de- prime everything on. Nytracker
Like that alot. Wish I could use it . My bench is stainless with wood top . Has drawers under the top that prevents me from utilizing that system.

I use wood worker's benches for for my reloading equipment and they too have drawers that can cause mounting problems. There are a couple of solutions from Lee and RCBS that utilize bench plates that are permanently mounted on the bench top and are not too obtrusive. Both have a bunch of mounting holes that will sine up with various presses and other bench mounted equipment. Equipment mounted to those plates can be removed and exchange by just a few bolts-screws in minutes. Lee offers wood blanks that can be used for odd ball stuff that does not line up with the plate holes. While you will not have a clean benchtop like Rob's setup the equipment can be removed if the bench is needed for use other that loading. Nytracker
This is what I'm using. Not an advertisement... but I like that I can stand at my press and see without hunching over. The ergo handle is worth the money . I do wish at times I could remove the whole thing like Robs design . I should build a second bench to smith on . Right now I use a 4 foot folding table for scope mounting and cleaning .

Cleaning / working on guns and archery equipment is the reason I did this.
