Kids enjoying the warm weather

Didnt take my kids long with the nice weather to dive into the lake.  I personally think they are crazy but they stayed in for an hour.

I used to swim in this spring creek when I was young,I doubt that creek ever got much above 60 even in the summer. I don't think I would enjoy it as much now...

Our little lake gets nice and warm come summer time so it's nice swimming but right now it's way to cold for me.

Back when I was a kid we use to spend summer up on Seneca  lake .. we use to swim in May. Back about 10 years ago myself the wife in kids were fishing the lake trout derby memorial day weekend . We stopped in a shallow spot and jumped  in  . Holly Jesus i forgot how cold that lake could be . Surface temp was mid 60. Much colder a few inches down .

One time years ago I stripped down and went overboard in Seneca Lake in June to retrieve a lost fish basket with to limits of bass in it..  I got it, but it was so cold that it  took  a week for my testicles to migrate back to my groin from my armpits....

Love it!!! We all need to do this after covid.
