CDS Center Grand Opening

We'll have a booth at an event that's this Sunday 6/27. It's Capital District Sportsman Center grand opening. There will be food, sporting goods vendors, and all kinds of outdoor stuff. There's even going to be a live band. 13 Babcock Lake Rd., Petersburg, NY. Event lasts 12-4pm.

Yes. They expanded from a group on FB, to a nonprofit 503C and have setup shop at the old Grafton Elementary school.

I have a former co-worker (and hunter) that lives in Petersburg , me and the wife may have to meet up with him and his wife ! Looks like a good spot to do Lunch !

Quality Deer Management Association QDMA during covid joined with National Deer Alliance. Together they're under a new name called National Deer Association NDA. So I had the NDA/QDMA table at the end. Few educational posters and some magazines on the table. Also had display boards setup like a matching game. Match the trail cam pick or jawbone with correct age and a light will light up.

So if I stopped by next week or next month, what would I expect to see?  

I know some brought and took mounts and stuff back home with them. I believe they are trying to have a museum type of space and educational stuff with a permanent home. Biggest thing would be to follow the group on Facebook to see when events are.

I know DEC big game unit staff are on here at times. He's definitely a busy guy so I would never hold him to it.
