Washington DC and Gettysburg trip.

We took advantage of some down time in the baseball season and a long holiday weekend to DC and Gettysburg. Let me tell you if ever get a change to see fireworks at the national mall do it . Simply spectacular. Glad no BLM or antifa protesters were out. I was surprised by the amount of trump support flags and signs in the DC area. Gettysburg is cool. But one thing that was disheartening to learn is by April of 2022 the confederate monuments will be coming down unless they reverse it in the senate. Can’t change history. Anyways here Are a few pics.

 Thanks for sharing the pictures. Gettysburg is amazing place and it’s sad to hear that it will be changing just because of a few . When you hear the history through one of the interpreters or when you view it through the cyclorama at the museum .  It really leaves a empty spot in your stomach to think of the thousands of men who died on our own soil. Too many times in America , many forget that we have spilled blood or on soil for these freedoms

That is awesome Cory.  Looks like a great patriotic day.  Here is a coincidence my daughter is working down in Baltimore as a traveling nurse and went to the Nationals game and the fireworks at the national mall too. She said best fireworks ever.

the Nationals stadium is a nice one for sure. i went to a game there in 2018.
