Last day … anyone have luck late season in the morning

Partially because I’m lazy and don’t like getting up in the morning I’ve always done afternoon sits in late season

 What’s the school of thought on this

I have not seen a deer on a morning hunt, since opening day of gun season.  Only one moving on its own, just after sunset, since then, and three that I bumped from standing corn or heavy cover in the mid afternoon.  

Mom and dad saw one come out into a clover plot, 1/2 hour before sunset yesterday,  if it does that again tomorrow, that will be its last meal.  
 

That adds up to about 10 consecutive deerless morning sits.   That won’t stop me from trying one last time tomorrow.  I definitely have way more confidence in the afternoon though.

Unless you are in pressure free area

The deer do tend to bed down earlier in the morning and agree that more often you will have better luck in the evening

Maybe you heard my shot, I was in Canadice.  I heard numerous shots early this morning from what I'd assume were duck hunters at the Hemlock Swamps.
