ADK Native
https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-delivers-2022-state-state Sounds like New Yorker’s will still suffer from being some of the highest taxed people in America to pay for Governor Hochul’s “dream”. Here are Governor Hochul’s specifics on combating “people violence”: https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-announces-three-part-agenda-prevent-and-reduce-gun-violence-and-violent-crime Nothing new from someone who embraces many of Cuomo’s polices. Again, nothing about attacking the major common denominator associated with “people violence”, the distribution, sale and use of illegal drugs where a firearm is used. Also bring real discipline to public schools. There is a need for the creation of reform schools to remove uncivilized youths whose actions disrupt and deny the many who want to learn in a safe environment. Those youths who are not getting proper discipline at home to help them grow to become good contributing citizens to prevent them from becoming criminals will get it at reform school. Hocuhl supporting term limits, but not for all: https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-announces-plan-institute-term-limits-and-outside-income-ban-statewide-elected Does not go far enough. All elected politicians should be limited to two terms.

Steve D
1.4 million people have left the state since 2010 But now Governor Kathy Hochul is sounding the alarm bell on a massive population loss in New York State of more than 300,000 in 2020. Hochul pointed out the troubling number during her State of the State Address Wednesday, saying in order embark on a new era and improve the economy, the harsh reality of the loss needs to be addressed. DoubleDose
Nothing new here. 1) The inanimate device called a gun is the problem. It is the gun robbing, raping, shooting, looting, burning, and killing people; not other people. Since there are more guns in America than people it is just a matter of time before all of us are exterminated and the guns will control the country. 2) Improve the economy by driving out companies like Remington and Amazon that will employ 1000s of people and bring in countless sustainable revenue. 3) Make the police, not the criminal, the problem. Stop arresting, stop bail, stop incarceration, release early, and then you get people that do not want to live in an UNSAFE state where they CANNOT defend themselves. The go back to 1) as the blame!!!!!!
