This is a pretty interesting book about the history of the beaverkill. I enjoyed reading it. If anyone wants it let me know.

I love local history and am sure I would enjoy it, but will happily defer to someone who is more local to the area and can more directly relate to the history. I am way up north.

It’s definitely an interesting book. I’m not sure if it was you or left field the recommended it,but thanks. I can’t get over all the changes and alterations they made,also all the damage. I fished lake wanetta for years and never knew it was a trout hatchery at on time,now it’s a pickerel pond. 
unfortunately other then the “Good Book” I’m one and done no need to let them rot on a shelf if someone else out there to enjoy it.

His other book, Trout Fishing in the Catskills, is a fascinating read as it covers the area from the 1700s on.
