I wholeheartedly agree that some of the biggest bucks will fall to late season hunters. That being said, to up the odds of killing "A" buck. You need to hunt where they are at this time of year. On heavily hunted land, that would be the thickest, nastiest cover available. Add in a close food sourse, and you have a late season hot spot where you have a chance to see a buck during daylight hours. All deer need to eat. And feel secure. So chances are good you "may" get a late season doe in heat in the same type of area, to up your odds of killing a buck.

I am pumped for hunt tomorrow. Hoping for a change in luck. I am definitely running out of time with Christmas getting closer. My wife is going to pull the plug on my hunting soon. Something about spending time with the family and kids. I hope Santa comes early, like 7:30 tomorrow morning
