  2. I do need to comment. The article is titled "Misconception No. 1: Most of what Americans spend their money on is made in China" Well since we spend 70% of our money on services like housing, food, insurance..... of course that is domestic expenditures. It is the other 30% the 399 billion imported that is alrming. I would hazaard a guess that all the items we buy between $.01 and $300 bucks would make up a far larger than 50% margin would be made in China. That is why you can walk around a store looking for items we buy more frequently and can not find a made in America. We do not import pricy items from China like Cars and Jewelry. Just my thoughts. The other parts of the article agree with what I have read before that we owe our own country the most, which is our future Social Security we will never see when I get there, then China and Japan over a trillion each. It just astounds me why we owe anyone that kind of money. If I ran my household finances like that I would be in jail. Politicians have kneecapped this country, stupid wars, lawyers and lawsuits for everything and wholesale grouth of the welfare country policies.

  3. Of cousre they are replacable and they know that but at what cost to the state!! You don't have to agree with what I have said and you don't have to believe what I said but you can believe one thing there are people out there that will go to any lenghts to keep the xbow out of that regular archery season!! To say that any intructor is on a power trip is wrong they are just a few of the many who believe that the xbow is not a bow. So for now I'm done with you. You know it all and you know what you can do with your crystal ball!!

  5. Chin made products are 100% more inferior to American made products. Unfortunately we have allowed the socialists in our government over the last 50 yrs slowly choke the life out of the American economy with high taxes. NY is the worst culprit followed by most of the northeast. The south has it right and is experiancing an economic boom right now. Most of my family has moved to NC and jobs are plentifull and good paying. While the socialists of the north slowly enslave the people with welfare. I figure it is only a matter of time before I jump ship also and head back south. As far as American cars go, I own 2, a Chevy HHR and a Pontiac vibe ( 1/2 pontiac 1/2 jap car made in america ) Both have never given me a problem. My former vehicle was a 98 Toyota Tacoma. Loved that truck but it was a huge pc of crap and broke down constantly. I eventually got rid of it in a buy back from toyota becausef the cheap chineese steel in the frame rotted out. Got $10,500 for a 98 with 100,000 miles on it. Went out and spent it on an american car and after 100,000 miles on that all ive replaced is brakes, muffler and oil and the usual upkeep. Oh and there is hardly any rust on it too. So put that in your Commie Asian product loving pipe and smoke it.Only thing worse than buying an Asian car is buying a euro trash car. Buy american and stop putting bullets in the gun that will eventually enslave your kids and your Grandchildren.

  6. I have a friend who has MS; so I decided to do some research into the cross-bow issue and some of the statements being made. The first statement being made. “A cross-bow is not a bow”. I thought that could be subjective, but there had to be a definition somewhere. I looked up the definition of a cross-bow in the Webster Dictionary and found that a CROSS-BOW IS A BOW! The next statement being made,” it doesn’t take as much skill to shoot a cross-bow”. What the hell does that mean? Is that supposed to be bad? I would rather see someone with limited practice. Who can shoot a cross-bow well, then the guy who takes out his bow a week before the season, and then wonders why he lost 2 or 3 deer?( it’s ok He’s a bow hunter, also this has been posted on this web site) These two next statements are really good.” A cross- bow shoots faster than a compound bow”. That’s not true. Just look at the 2012 Mathews catalog they have bows that shoot just as fast on 1/3 the draw weight. This one is a good one.” Cross-bow can shoot 1” group a 100yd’s”. I’m not going to say it can’t be done, but there are some factors that have to be taken into consideration first. The first of these factors is Gravity. A bow or cross-bow with a 400gr. Arrow going 350fps and sighted in for 25yds will drop about 8.7ft at 100yds... If you sight in for 100yds the bow or cross-bow would be useless for anything less than 70yds. Then can you kill anything that far? If you can’t then it doesn’t matter how good the group is. Then there is the wind. An arrow has a big surface area it won’t take much wind to blow it off target. (I used a Sierra 6 ballistics program and a high BC level of .700) I found that most of the statements made were either not true or only half truths. My friend is never going to climb into a tree stand again and a draw lock doesn’t work for him. A cross-bow may not work for him but he deserves the opportunity to try one if he wants. I have to admit I have limited experience with a cross-bow. I have only shot one once and found it to be heavy and cumbersome and noisy. To me it is more of a novelty. I’m not going to put 500 to 800 dollars down on one. The only advantage I can see is that it may be a more stable platform then a bow. Let’s hope when cross –bows comes to the archery season those wanting to use cross-bows in the archery season will have to take the bow hunters course

  7. Larry, you're right, they are sometimes easier to kill later in the morning. Most of my birds are killed within an hour of dawn, or later from 0900-1200. I think their hens leave them, and they go out searching again. I've killed a few that gobbled their arses off at first light, called back to me, and then disappeared. Only to come right in to me, silently, an hour or two later. That's why I hate to move after I've had a bird talking at me. I still go out early tho, I love sneaking around in the dark, and watching the woods wake up.

  8. My wife and I celebrate valentines day, every day! Since this is my second go round in the marriage dept, it seems to be working! We are together 15 years! Tell them u love them you love them every chance you get, buy little Things here and there and MOST of all listen to what they say(you will most likely not agree with them just listen)!

  9. i had a honda prelude once.... only japanese vehicle i had. The timing belt went on it, causing the head to be junk. that non-sequential design thing. In my opinion, all vehicles are junk, dont matter if its ford, dodge, chevy, or toyota.... they all have problems.
