After work the other day I stopped by the Dick's in Albany and found a Franchi Diamond (12g) on the rack. I had looked at this one previously but wasn't ready to buy, as luck would have it the price had dropped $50. Upon inspection I found a minor ding in the stock and asked the guy if I could get a little discount. Off came another $50 and I came home with it. I got it for $600, not bad considering the MSRP is much higher and the last time I had seen it it was $700. Most likely will be the best deal I get at a box store. Not a bad looking mid/low priced OU I'm happy because my wife quickly took over the Stoeger I bought in January, now I have one too..haha

I like him better than the first one...not very wide, but he has some great mass!!!

If you want to do it legal ---come on in!! but my great grand parents didn't have to get paid and supported to learn the language. they did it because they had to to succeed. How it shoul dbe now.

Geeze you guys should relax a little hunting supposed to be fun. Lol I hunt from the ground and don't do food plots or trail cams, I'm good and ready.

centerfires? signalling for help when a horse threw me and broke my knee. comes to mind right off. coyotes, woodchucks, turtles, fish, those all require many boxes of rounds on good days...those MTM 100 round boxes work best for us for those days, anytime its less than a box or two I use those tri fold elastic bandeded jobbers already mentioned, they wear out but are cheap to replace..other times more ammo than 4 rounds carried?..anytime I am in the bush and there are guerillas, gorillas, or anything about that can claw me bite me or eat me in large chunks...I dont mind dying, I do mind dying for lack of shooting back. I mainly hunt with flinters so carry about all I can comfortably carry at one time, maybe 100 rounds worth on round ball, half that in shot., which is about a pound of powder to go with that.

I also like Federal premium 165gr BTSP.I get very tight groups from my mod 70.
