  1. Congrats on your shortest post ever. I gave you a +1. Keep up the good work.
  2. No, but it sure is better than the non idea's those opposed to it came up with. (well plus or minus a few tweaks) Like it or not it's happening. So are you going to answer my question? I don't have time right now to see who said what.
  3. Are the same people that complain about losing hunters now complaining about the youth hunt?
  4. As for safety concerns, there'll be 2 people behind each trigger to determine the target. that is safer. Is the guy complaining about age discrimination really an adult and serious? I thought I'd seen it all. Maybe he's on here too?
  5. Pretty sure some of our members are on there breaking it down. Tughill dropped some knowledge for sure.
  6. You know, I never cancelled my cable after I got the Roku box. Now I have to pay the stupid $8 for netflix and the cable bill. I'll never get my boat....
  7. And we're all drinking huge, I mean huge sodas with camo on! I mean real tacky hillbilly hunting camo. LOL!
  8. FYI I'm farting around on the internet while my 4 year old is playing a dirtbike gme on the kindle, and my 7 year old is building a hunting cabin on his ipod touch. We're all at the dinner table and all sitting on our butts. They can't wait to go hunting with me. (tag along)
  9. It's almost time for my least favorite buzz word "DECIMATED".
  10. So you're saying it's not that difficult, so why can't these guys get to it and practice. But in your OP here, you say you've been "fidgeting with your bow for weeks and shooting for 2 months." In case you haven't noticed, I'm already confused as it is! Thanks for the misclarification if that's even a word.
  11. I was so gonna edit my post to say "Geno you like men, right?"
  12. Sits, with all due respect. Weren't you just saying how bow tuning is over complicated? Now you sound like it should be meticulous. Which is it? Posted 01 October 2011 - 04:14 AM i dont know, i have to say this whole bow tuning thing has been made to be way over complicated. i have owned atleast 20 some bows since the early 90s and have set up dozens of newbies bows, just did my son in laws last weekend. i have a few basic tools from around the house, and can have a bow setup in an hour. guys get way too into it with paper tuning, trying all kinds of gizmos that do absolutely nothing for you and worst spending all kinds of time adjusting this timing that. i say get your bow and square it up and spend that time shooting/developing your form instead. i paper tuned a bow once about 20 years ago and by the time i was done the damn was so out of kilter it was useless, havnt paper tuned one since and i can hit a pie plate at 50 yards with just about anyones bow that is the right draw lenght. growalot likes this Like This Quote MultiQuote
  13. You guys are damn good shots. (or I'm a bad shot!)This is a 30yd group. I ended up splintering one of the arrows so I stopped.
  14. I don't think it will spook the deer any more than the squirrel, turkey, and waterfowl hunting that has already been happening for years.
