Went to a friends to hunt this morning. I was told no one else was going to be there. I get in stand 30 min before shooting time and i hear a noise behind me, its the neighbor walking away because he seen me. I look out in field and there i deer coming out of woods but going other way. Then 15 min later i see some deer coming from other side of woods, cool because i guess they cross over to the property i am on. Maybe10 min after that i hear A shot from the property i am on! The deer i was hoping that was going to cross ran into the woods, gone! Its windy so i am sticking with it because i guess the deer come and bed down in the pines. Its 15 acres huntable property but i think its not good for 2 hunters. Almost an hr after the shot i hear the guy coughing! I stay, now i am thinking he is trying to get me out of there. The wind picks up and my hat almost comes off so he won! I text my friend and that guy is not suppose to hunt there any more. I am home where its warm

Why does it bother you that are some who really read the rules?

I was so uncomfortable where I was. I was on a platform that leans forward a bit. I did see a 4 pt early. I couldn't take the cold or angle had to move to different area, I am now in my blind and the wind has picked up some

I am a rules kinda gal. Lol. I look at my book at night to check next days times if I am going out. I know a few who don't care baca use they can still see

Finally warmed up

I did, I had a few days banked for the summer vacation, now I am using most of what I have. I schedule mine smart, you know around holidays. Not sure what I will do next summer. :-/

Not sure, i am paranoid about doing the wrong thing and knowing DEC was there while i was squirrel hunting might make me think twice. But i think if i feel the shot will be good and it will stay on property i just might but....

The first week of school where i work there has been bomb threats. They write on the bathroom walls and every threat has to be taken serious. I think they finally found the last student and i believe 3 have been expelled. Not sure about charges but school made it sound like there are charges against any and all making threats

I have no issues peeing and my husband was told someone seeing doing so. 10 min drive to get to my bathroom, if place is opened i would go to husbands job.

I don't think shooting time is sunrise to sunset not according to the book the time is a bit later than what you can see . So the book says for sat 648 and add 15-18 min. but there was plenty of light at 635. I will always go with the book, will never take my chances on a fine that i can not afford to pay. Last year i was at a friends hunting and it was still light out but according to book i was done. They laughed at me. I called them as i was pulling out of driveway to tell them that the dec was sitting up at the road and i am sure where i was sitting they could see me. Glad i got down when i did.
