I am just wondering about all of you that do food plots. When reading some of what you all do and spend it amazes me. I got excited and thought maybe I would do a very small path plot but after asking question and reading I thought it was too much bother. Seems like some of you that are doing food plots are doing near other peoples planted fields, like corn, wheat and soy. Is doing all this worth it? If you didn’t do the plots but still have the same amount of land does that mean you wouldn’t get a deer? Are you filling your tags with the plots when you weren’t before? By me asking does not mean I am judging because I am sure if I had the land and money I just might do the same

this is the best picture from the last 2 weeks. very disappointed. I put up my blind so i am sure that has to do with some of it, behind my camera 30-40ft is a cabbage field. there was a few deer in there eating so i sat in the blind a bit to wait for a chance to get a picture of a buck over there. something spooked them so hurried to camera to switch cards so i could use that card to get pictures. there must have been like 15 deer over there, a few bucks, at least 1doe with her 2 fawns. i didn't get any pictures but it was nice out there.

I say cot because on ground your getting the dampness from ground no matter how good the sleeping bag, and air mattress i think the air in it holds the coldness. i always had a stack of blankets to put on mattress. never used a heater, had a old coleman but never used it. i have never used a cot just figured it has to better than the cold ground.

for years i camped on a beach in tupper lake. i have even gone alone. i go either to my brothers or aunts to shower.
