It worked, Your riled up.

That's one of the problem's with using a red light, as something could've come in, but you never saw it. With bow season in full swing, it's likely they found a gut pile, road kill or another food source and aren't looking for a meal in your area. Give them a day or two and they'll be back.

If it's easy to take the breech plug out, remove it and start fresh. Make sure the flash hole is clear before reinstalling the breech plug. Safety first.

Their dream, any sane persons nightmare. They can spew out any type of claim they want, but there's no way it's going to be all electric in our lifetime, as the elctric grid is overworked as it is and adding more of a drain on it will shut it down. Solar can only go so far and all other so called "green" energy is to costly to produce. Since large animals are being deemed "carbon" emitters from the eco leftists, pedal powered travel seems to be the only option, but then again, the exertion when pedaling emits more carbon into the atmosphere too ! Send in Fauci !!!!!!

Good luck and make sure of your target before pulling the trigger.

I've made the mistake of calling before I had my thermal on and found them 20 feet away when I started scanning. Get set up and have your shooting lanes picked out before you start calling.
-
Locator calls, challenge calls and then pup distress. Once you start calling, be ready and watch your downwind side, as they like to approach from downwind. Even if you don't kill one, you'll be putting them on notice and maybe they'll look in a different area for an easier meal.

I was going to post a reply with links to Joe Bidens Clown antics and lies, but this forum doesn't have enough band width to support it.

Pulsar Thermion Scope Comparison
Shoots100 replied to Shoots100's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
You made a good choice with the super hog. Great price, full of good features and field proven. The Gen 2 XP50 is an awesome scope and as good as the super hog or yoter is, I prefer pulsar optics. Good luck to you also and I look forward to seeing some hunting videos from you this year. -
I think the last one in the pics looks like it would taste the best.

I've left links to medical studies from other countries that counter your covid claims and you still claim that it's gibberish, unless it comes from some lib doctor from NYC, you know the expert doctors that killed thousands of covid patients by putting them on ventilators ? Luckily, some doctors with experience put and end to that treatment and saved thousands from certain death. You don't need a superior education to know what's right and what's wrong. When given all of the facts, most people can make their own decisions, except for the liberal slaves, they need their marching orders. Every day that goes by, the main stream media is losing the battle to cover up their lies about the vaccine and the alternative + preventative medications that are being used with great effectiveness in other countries. Meanwhile, the current administration's experts are intentionally transporting untested refugees from countries that have who's knows what covid variant around the US. Are those the educated experts you want us to trust ? Other countries have closed their borders to stop the spread, but our "Experts" are rolling out the welcome mat and then penalizing Americans with mandates, lockdowns, social distancing, covid passports and injections. Even a fifth grader could tell you that's idiotic. Have fun at the wedding, hopefully it's not near a town that they transported unchecked illegals to.

In my quest to aquire better thermal optics to aid in my night time hunting, I decided to jump on a really good deal for a Pulsar XG50 rifle scope. Since selling my Halo scope years ago, I've been looking at getting another BAE sensor scope, but couldn't afford one. My XP38 scope has a great image and wide FOV(field of view), but I've been looking at upping the base magnification for more precise shots, since I've been hunting in areas that offer longer shots. The XG50 has a 3x base mag, twice the base mag of the XP38, but half the FOV. I was worried about the smaller FOV of the XG, but after looking through the XG for the last couple of hours, I was worried for nothing and the 3x base mag is growing on me. With a 3x base mag, the XG has a 384 res image at 6x. With the 1.5x base mag of the XP38, it's 384 res at 3x. The clarity of the XG is awesome and while the XP38 image looks good , the XG does edge it out, especially at longer distances. I linked videos of both scopes focused on a neighbors jeep at 100 yards. All scope settings the same. Recorded image doesn't do the XG or XP image your viewing while behind the scopes justice. I had to add that about a half hour after these videos were taken, it started pouring rain. Humidity degrades a thermal image and I think both of these scopes performed well considering. Enjoy. XP38 XG50

I guess you didn't view the ER nurse video that grouse posted, or lost interest while watching it because there's to many facts for you to handle ?

It's a Savage Impulse Predator chambered in .243 win. I sent the barrel to Pete, since it's easily removable. Contact him and he'll let you know what to do. I bought an N vision halo after they first came out years ago. BAE sensor/core 640 resolution image is awesome and it's made in the US, but it couldn't record and I got an offer I couldn't refuse. Plus, I didn't like how you had to manually NUC it and despise 123 batteries, which it ate like Pez candy. Been using Pulsars ever since and when the XG came out, I wanted one, but I had the XP and was content. I was eyeing the new Halo X35 scope, as it uses 18650 batteries and records, but was told that their not going to be available for awhile, because of part shortages. But that BAE bug just wouldn't relent. Since I like and am used to using a Thermion and I also have plenty of APS batteries, I decided to look into the XG. I got a real good deal on this one, otherwise I wouldn't of bought it. I know the XG's image isn't going to be as nice as the Halo's, but it's right there. I've been told (by a fellow that also has the XP's and an XG) that it's a lot nicer than the XP's image and that's saying something, as my XP's image is very nice. The XG has a little more base mag and less of a FOV compared to my XP, so I might not like the XG and that's why I'm not selling the XP yet. Sometimes I get shots at closer ranges and I'm concerned that those shots might not be feasible with the XG. As you know, what you see in the scope is a lot better than the compressed image recorded. Tomorrow I will find out. Good luck to you also.

I know it's easier for you to focus on Trump, then listen to Biden screwing your old lady or significant other in the next room. One day your going to need to face reality. The only one that suffered on 1/6, was the unarmed female veteran that was murdered by a black police officer. No riots over her death, or the unconfirmed deaths of at least 45,000 Americans and the untold number who suffer from side effects from the covid vaccine so far ? The collateral damage will be overlooked, as long as the vaccine will bring America back to some type of normalcy.

The fluting was done here. PBW Pete is one of the best in the business. His quality of work and turn around time is second to none. I dura coated the barrel with three coats of matte black and two coats of matte clear. Here's a close up view of the barrel. The fluting only took off around a 1/2 pound of weight, but any weight taken off is appreciated.

Had the Impulse barrel spiral fluted and am patiently waiting for the Thermion XG50 scope to arrive early this week, then my rig will be set for this fall. October 1st is fast approaching. I'm keeping the XP on top till the XG arrives. I'm also going to try Lapua OT projos and a titanium linear compensator, to see if it'll mitigate muzzle flash and rearward noise. The brake is Titanium and has QD threads for quick & easy install or removal of the linear compensator.

I can sum it up for you Grouse . Chef- Trump sucks, She's a psychopath, loser, idiot, dimwit and should be fired. Ban her from ever speaking about covid again. BMM- She doesn't have the qualifications or show enough proof. Dummkopf Left field- Star Trek rules, Kirk for President.

Congrats. Big smiles and providing meat for the family. Keep up the good work.

Funded the program to make it more lethal, told the American public it wasn't such a big deal when it arrived on our shores, even calling Americans racist for not wanting to visit certain cultural areas that the china virus originated from, fought and bypassed President Trumps orders when he wanted shut down air travel from countries that covid was running rampant, used it as an excuse to change voting/election laws and last but not least, intentionally sending covid positive illegals to major cities across the country. I call that sick and immoral, but you call it fair play, since it was done by the Dem establishment that will never let a crisis go to waste. 9/11 was caused by the Dems infiltrating our intelligence agencies, weakening them with their pathetic "New Age" rules, causing a breakdown in communication between said agencies, which allowed known terrorists to be trained to fly planes here and evade detection at local airport security, to board the jets. And another attempt from you to divert the obvious vaccine fraud, you swallowed hook, line and sinker.

Nice. That corn didn't go to waste.

I hear you , but if you follow the numbers, Heart disease is the largest cause of death in America and around the world. Twice as many die yearly from heart disease, than all cancers combined. Who's the most segment prone to heart disease, you guessed it, Overweight smokers ! Heart disease "High blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, and smoking are key risk factors for heart disease. Several other medical conditions and lifestyle choices can also put people at a higher risk for heart disease, including: Diabetes. Overweight and obesity." Covid is just a tool to control the masses. These caring souls that are preaching about covid, don't really care about you, because if they did, they would've put an end to a totally treatable disease that's been killing millions a year for decades. What really scares me, is that if the Dems were willing to unleash covid in America to derail the 2020 election, what are they willing to do to keep that control ? We complained about Cuomo sending covid positive patients to the nursing homes, killing thousands, yet have no issue with Biden sending Covid Positive illegals to major cities around the country ?

Anyone seeing bucks this year, despite EHD?

I'm sorry, I should've clarified my post in saying that the deer change their pattern to a more nocturnal activity. Thank you for pointing that out. In heavily pressured areas, they will only move during the day, if pushed to do so. Otherwise they will feed and move at night, hence my saying they go nocturnal.
