  1. Writes the critic that still believes whatever the proved Lying media tells him. You spout drivel with some of your "proof", yet turn your nose up to others "proof" as fictional and then insult the other person with more condescending drivel and insults. You don't need to hide behind the left field monikor Dr Fauci !
  2. I would advise you not to wear deer antlers on your head while out in the woods !
  3. Got my buck opening day, while I was walking to my starting point on the first deer drive of the season. I've been hunting and deer driving with the same crew of guys + gals for almost 40 years. We wear blaze orange and have radios. New hunters shadow seasoned hunters. With the lack of hunting pressure, if you want to see deer, you need to push them around, especially the bucks that wait until dark to move around.
  4. Got a medium sized female yote Sunday, just after sundown. It was snowing/hailing and the cover was thick. By far the worst hunting conditions I've hunted in this year. The Thermion XG50 and FP X24 call both get a thumbs up. The coyote have been harassed by deer hunters and were sticking to heavy cover, even at night. I managed to call two or three in and connected with one of them. Saw some targets in the far background after the shot, but couldn't tell what they were, so I didn't pull the trigger. https://youtu.be/dX66z8oNGD8
  5. On a nice day I would agree, but a pop up blind offers scent control, conceals movement and will keep you dry + out of the elements if the weather changes.
  6. By ring style pop up, I mean this doghouse type blind that folds up like this. Blind fold up The two thing's I don't like about the ring style blind's, is that you need to insert the top poles to keep the roof supported and they weigh a lot because of the steel rings. No need to install top poles with the hub style and the carbon fiber hub and frame are very lightweight. The lightest ring style blind is still almost 3 pounds heavier than my hub style blind. When I'm out in the field, I always have a thermal monocular on hand and scan every couple of minutes. I usually see them way before their in a position to see me, even when their downwind. Blind, ladder or nose bleed height climber stand, I've been out many days when a deer isn't seen or spotted. Just the law of averages.
  7. I've been hunting with the ring style blinds for awhile now and just bought my first hub style blind, the khampa ranger 3000, as it weighs less than 9 pounds. Took me awhile to figure how to set it up without making a lot of noise. It's still not as easy for me to set up and break down as the ring style blinds, but it weighs a lot less and I'm sure it'll break in over time. I've set up blinds the morning of hunting new land and have had deer walk right up to it, but I always treat my blinds with a UV killer, as there have been studies that found the water resistance coatings some manufacturers use makes them stick out to animals that see in a certain light spectrum. Never had an issue after using UV killer.
  8. Proof that memory loss is a common side effect of the jab and booster. Hopefully you'll remember that I wished you well, but who knows if you'll remember your password to login to the site ?
  9. Don't get Anti vaxxer's mixed up with Anti mandate's. We're not leftists, we don't get irritated if someone chooses to do something to themselves that we don't agree with. I find it a little concerning that you would inject whatever it is their selling you into your arms to spite someone. Since big pharma has no liability and people are lining up for the common good, their just happy to collect the checks and hope their salesman can talk the dupes that soon the vaccine is going to be approved for their pets. More Money, More Money.
  10. It's sad that the party of tolerance, breeds the most intolerant. This is a good life lesson for Kyle and I hope he thinks twice about any further decisions of putting himself in harms way to protect someone else's property. Protecting another persons life is worth the fallout, but to drag your family + yourself through a trial and killing two people( I know they were scum), isn't worth the soil he spilled blood on. Innocent or guilty, He's scarred for life and on the black list forever. Not a good way to start your life, but he made his bed.
  11. Morning, their going from food to cover. Evening, their going from cover to food. Throw all that out the window when a hot doe is around. If their not pressured, get in between their food source and cover, not in the cover or food source. If the deer aren't moving around, it's a great time to try and perfect your still hunting skills. Good luck and God bless.
  12. Speak for yourself, As I don't shop at Wallmart, Amazon or any other place that supports your masters and puts local shops out of business. There's no way to not buy something made in or that has parts made in China, but I do my best to limit buying those items. It irks me that my and my businesses tax dollars are being used by the liberals to support China and their cronies with foreign aid, even the countries that have sworn death to America.
  13. Not to mention the slave labor used to make them too ! But that's OK, because it's slaves working to combat climate change and it's for the common good.
  14. You wrote that politicians don't steal much from the Taxpayers. I guess hundreds of millions (probably way more) of tax payer dollar funded family deals on both sides of the aisle isn't much now a days ? It's not just a few bad apple's, it's a perk for all, for their service being in charge of the little tax paying people. Such as the perk of congresses "overlooked" insider trading. Not to pick on Nancy, but her family seems to be making a huge profit during her time in office. Not that they need the money, but the price of designer ice cream is skyrocketing ! https://fortune.com/2021/07/08/house-speaker-nancy-pelosi-husband-paul-big-tech-stocks/ In the end , Georgians will benefit from Remington's move and upstate NY'ers will suffer even more.
  15. ???? So the bloated Gov't contracts (paid for by our Tax's, I/E Taxpayers) that they approve for their friends + family members and get a kick back on, isn't stealing from the tax payers ? The wheels don't need to be greased, when your in charge of the wheel greasing operation !
  16. At least I know where a CEO stands, not like a "bend which way the wind blows" politician. I guess the $29 million dollar sea side estate Obama bought, was with his salary as President for eight years, speeches and book deals ? It's business as usual in DC. Of course Big wigs make more money, as their being held accountable for their actions/decisions. You don't see too many CEO's around that screw up, I wish it was the same way with politicians. I'm down in the city almost every day. Traffic is getting worse, but it's nowhere near the capacity it was before, with tourists afraid to visit because they fear for their safety and that also includes the workers.
  17. Great Job. Are you having issues with the new thermal scope holding zero ? The 204's recoil shouldn't be an issue.
  18. Yes, it's pretty clear that we should just let the Gov't take over everything, as their track record is way better than capitalism ! NY state ran OTB into the ground. Betting is as old as the red light district and NY managed to screw that up royally, so maybe we should put those board members in charge of the economy ? If it wasn't for big business's supporting and funding the country, we would be living in the stone age. Their in the business of making money, not giving it away. If it wasn't for the Gov't trying to suck big business teat dry, most companies would stay in their states, as big green was doing, but even they had enough of NY states BS. The Gov't does nothing but tax the crap out of everything for no services given. Those tax dollars seem to end up in the coffers of those politicians making the deals with corporations, rather than funding tax payer needs. While the city is starting to come back to life, it's nowhere near what it was before, with a lot of workers doing their jobs remotely, which has a tremendous toll on the trickle down effect on all of the small businesses that supported them, including the money that has kept all of the city employees working. Workers not using mass transit or paying tolls at the bridges & tunnels is going to have a very negative effect on the city filling it's coffers, which is the sole money maker for the state, as upstate is and has been a loss for a long time. The trickle down effect of that is going to be a real mess in the next few years and the only way that's going to be counteracted, is with tax's paid by big businesses, as the tax payers will have no money left to pay their tax's. Look at what AOC did with Amazon. Never underestimate the power of stupidity. You think that didn't effect NY city and state ? That chess move she made will have ripple effects for years to come and businesses that were looking to move to NY, have located elsewhere because of that. Many of the big tax paying businesses have leases that will expire in 2023. When those leases end, so will their business's being located in NYC, which will lead to a trickle effect of devastation that may never be stopped. Without deals being made, NYC and state will be finished.
  19. The Gov't told them to enjoy the show, these special glasses will protect you from the atomic blast !
  20. You think this is bad, Just wait till you see the effects that the Global Climate tax Biden and the UN idiots are going to pass does to the world business economy. They saw how well it worked to fatten their coffers when implemented in the US, So now their going to try it globally. Those Amazon and Wallmart cheap China deals will soon be gone like the wind, but it's for the Common good, so deal with it !
  21. I'm sure they would've been OK, if 91% of Irelands population was jabbed and had at least 2 , 3 or 4 boosters !!!!!! In their eye's, as long as every American isn't jabbed, it's never going to end. Unless your an untested Illegal dreamer being shipped around the country, you'll soon be mandated to get the jab. Makes total sense.
  22. I agree, but it's shotgun only and still has the same parking restrictions as daylight hunting. Most night vision and thermal aren't rated for shotgun recoil. I would go in the daytime and do some recon before traversing the area at night.
  23. While I know some are fond of hunting at Stewart, I wouldn't drive 10 minutes to hunt at Stewart, especially since NY made the opening of deer bow to coincide with the Oct 1st Pheasant, Grouse and Rabbit small game hunting seasons. Just not enough room there.
