  1. That's a biased source, it has to be discounted... https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/american-intelligence-media/ In all honesty, I didn't read it, just wanted to poke the bear...
  2. This going to sound super self-righteous, but I really don't care what my last meal is, but more about who it is with.
  3. I redirect to that quote that I posted a while back “We’re all idiots…” Please know that I mean know offense by that. The most wrong I’ve ever been is when I was absolutely sure I was right.
  4. Everyone has bias, that's just part of being human. Are you suggesting that anyone with bias be discounted, or only those who don't hold the same bias as you? It's a slippery slope. I try to listen to a little bit of everyone and piece my own perspective from there. Writing off anyone who you disagree with is a great way to get trapped into a bubble. I guess this is just my own biased opinion
  5. Eh, Pence is more attractive in my opinion Silver Fox and all.... Sorry, I wanted to swing at that one.
  6. I read this morning that Russia is claiming that they have control of the airspace, but as much as they have lied throughout, it's likely not true. I think the defense weapons the Ukrainians are getting sent are really putting a hurt on the Russians.
  7. I was listening to a general yesterday, and he said that most of what is in the 3 mile convoy are resupply trucks, fuel, food, etc. The tanks and stuff are more than likely escort. He was explaining that the fact that they are that behind on supplies shows that they weren't ready for the resistance they've been dealing with.
  8. No problem man. I can sum it up pretty easily. If the election were today between Biden and Trump, I would be a man without a candidate, and would simply leave that top row empty. I'm sure there are some that would take issue with that, but if the choice is to drink one of two poisons, I'll chose neither. I was very hopeful that Biden would be more moderate than he has proven to be, and might be someone who could at least provide some more passive leadership compared to Trump's chaos approach. Naïve as it may have been, that's why my vote was cast. As some may remember, I started the election cycle as a pretty good supporter of Biden, but as time went on, I saw the whole party drifting further to the left (and not more moderate as I had hoped), and by the time of the election I had changed my party affiliation to Independent. Fast forward, and I stand by my "life's not hugely impacted" statement. Regardless of the doom and gloom, I'm making more money than I was in 2020, I can still travel pretty much as much as I want regardless of fuel prices, and my family is happy and healthy, except for those that are suffering from their own choices, which is neither here nor there on this forum. There is nothing that I need that I do not have access too. Really, my life if pretty darn good despite the state of the world. That is one man's perspective, and I recognize a pretty privileged one at that, but it's where I'm at. Ultimately, I would say that I'm just as happy now as I was in 2020 and before. Do I wish some things would change, absolutely, but realistically, the only reason they would have any impact on my life situation is if I were to sit around and dwell on them, knowing that I cannot change them. Since you asked, I'm happy to answer Chris. There are a few that frequent this sub that I won't bother responding to. I don't care to be insulted by random strangers online, so I'll bow out.
  9. When he starts threatening nukes, you’ve got to wonder if there aren’t at least a few whispered conversations going on.
  10. That stock is beautiful. Congrats, and good luck with it!
  11. Just that I, and many others vote for a person and their policies. For me, Trump the person gets in the way of policy, and for that reason, I won’t vote for him. A better person stands a very good shot at earning my vote in 2024.
  12. At this point, I would be heavily inclined to vote for a Republican president for the first time in my life, but I will not vote for Trump. I’m sure there are many out there like me. Please pick someone better than Trump.
  13. The man knows how to hold the spotlight, and I’ll concede that the skill has served him well.
  14. Shoot, I’d join just to get a chance to meet/hunt with you David
  15. To me it’s just Trump taking something and making it about himself, per the usual for him. He’s an entertainer though, and that’s what he does.
  16. Wish I were closer to the Catskills, I’d be all over this.
  17. Yep, I'm not confirming it either, just what I heard, even with the disclaimer from the person who said it as "unverified".
  18. There's also some unverified reports that Russian soldiers morale is being impacted as they are entering the Ukraine and seeing how much better the standard of living is compared to Russia. Heard that today while listening to the radio and snow blowing.
  19. It was on POTUS on SiriusXM yesterday while I was driving. I don't remember if it was before or after my 2:00 meeting, so it was either POTUS Mid-Day or Dan Abrams. They had some kind of Russia expert on. At this point with the wall to wall coverage of what's going on, it's kind of all blending together. I wish I had a source to send you, I'll see if maybe I can find at least who they had on. If you have SiriusXM you can use the app to listen to yesterday's shows I guess.
