  1. Don’t insult me with that BMW crap, we ride in style and sophistication…on Vespa Motorscooters. Honestly though, a Subaru owner would never own a Harley, they value having reliable modes of transportation.
  2. NYT in 4, HNY in 2. I chose a good start word on that one.
  3. My car is covered in decals. If someone is following a little close, I flip the rear wiper to let them know that I see them
  4. Hopefully this is clean enough...
  5. Red Birds all the way! I’m looking forward to the season! Nothing like grilling out on an afternoon, drinking a beer and listening to a Cardinals game.
  6. Sorry, way too much information in reply to what I'm sure was a passing thought Just brought it to mind.
  7. Tracks are cool until you start throwing them all the time. I worked with a farmer back in Illinois who put tracks on his big Case 4WD. He thought that since he had tracks he could start working ground when it was way too wet. Not only did they bury that monster a few times that first season, they tore the daylights out of their fields to the point that none of my guys wanted to spray them. He was always throwing a track by getting it in too deep of mud. Really, it wasn't the machines fault, just the operator thinking they would do more than they were designed to do.
  8. Okay, you've won, I've exhausted my creative meme searching for the day
  9. Looks like something a James Bond villain's hit squad would show up in.
  10. Our family just outgrew mine with the addition of 2 kids and the 3 dogs. My wife finally broke down and got a minivan this past summer. My Outback is a 2012, and now with my 5 mile daily commute, I don't rack the miles up too quickly compared to the drive to work that I had when I first got it.
  11. My Outback is at 187,000, and I hope that I still have several years before I need to decide on a replacement.
  12. For my needs, I think an EV would be fine. I don't drive my car long distances much, so the range (which would be my biggest concern) isn't too much of an issue. I also don't tow anything, and don't carry too many heavy loads. I think with the technology right now, I'd have an EV with my wife's car being gas powered for the longer trips back to IL.
  13. I just wanted to give a quick shout out to a new online knife store I've been buying from. White Mountain Knives is in New Hampshire, and I think it may even be a one-man operation, as every time I've needed to talk to someone I speak with Justin, who I believe is the owner. Regardless, they carry a good array of knives, free shipping on all US orders, and great customer service. I've really had a great overall experience with them, so if you're looking for a new knife or other tool, I'd say check with them. https://whitemountainknives.com/ I promise, this isn't SPAM, just coming from a happy customer of the vendor.
  14. I know a guy who has a similar color, but I think his is more red. It looks black until you get in the right light. Does yours have the metal flake?
  15. Great looking truck. That color is really cool. I'm still driving my 10 year old Subaru. I'll drive it until the wheels fall off so bad that they can't be welded back on.
  16. Both in 3 for me, I think that's my best double so far.
  17. You see this all the time with electric guitars. A lot of players rag on the guys playing MIM Fenders or what not, but once they swap out pickups, tuners, etc, and do a good set-up job, they end up with a much better instrument than an off the rack American made. It sounds like you've got a great project and will have a gun to be proud of when you are done. Tack that on to the bang for the buck, and you're well ahead. Good luck!
  18. NYT in 5 (I screwed up and should have had it in 4) and HNY in 3.
  19. Now that’s interesting. All of this talk of “This never happened on Trumps watch” and this raises the possibility that Putin may have been only biding his time to see if Trump would pull out and he could wage a larger invasion of the former Soviet states with only crippled NATO to answer to. This is only one of a million possibilities, and we’ll probably never know the motivations for any of what Putin has done or didn’t do.
