who says that they were killed just for the hell of it, doc I also believe its from a lot of people who bring a deer into get cut up, and then they see the finished product and think, man my deer was huge this should be twice the meat
-
what do you mean mass slaughter, whats the point, how can a normal sized family eat that many deer......... go check the tags, are you thinking that they are all from the same hunter?? lol that's funny, normal size family whats your definition of that, my buddy and his wife will only eat venison as their red meat for the year, if he has a bad year, they don't eat red meat, so if its being utilized what business is it of anyones
-
why didn't you just piss in the woods?
-
so you know how many people he has working there to handle the business? you should call him and tell him that, the place I was at the owner walked me through the whole process of how they did it, and it was pretty tight control of whose deer went where...and that they stayed with the tags that were on them, seeing as its also a legal thing cause if DEC checked his place and found deer without tags someones getting a ticket,
-
its a processors, I'm sure they have a cooler if they are doing this for money, and if they are good( which I would think they are by the amount of business there on the ground) they will work through that pile plenty fast enough to get em inside to cool down, I've seen the same type of thing the last place I had a deer done, while talking to some hunters, I watched em lay out about 14 or so deer, and had em inside within about 30 minutes, not bad really

I carry binoculars, or I look at it through my scope, not much science more than that

antlerless = button buck also, or any other buck with antlers less than 3"
-
nice site bkln, but even those will deflect when shot through brush, theres a lot of determining factors on how much deflection, but any projectile will be deflected
-
great idea, then if you get luckyt like I did once where the tag came off in some brush, the ECO backtrailed it with me, and he was the one to find it on the ground, all filled out, and where the zip tie tore off, got lucky on that one

though some online places had stopped for awhile shipping ammo due to impending laws, so I would call ahead

I would have to cross the powerlines either way, s if I blew em out it would happen both times, though I can access my spot on the powerlines pretty silently in the dark -

rifle, its private land, not that I haven't kicked people outta there before, but it borders some stand land on one side and some private on the other -
ok guys some thoughts please, the general spot I plan on sitting on Saturday morning is a powerline, I've sat there a lot in afternoons and always saw deer, was thinking of hitting that first thing in the AM, then for the afternoon hunt going about 100 or so yards into the weoods where the deer may be staging before coming out again..................what would you guys do, hunt the woods and not worry about the open lines, or any other combo?

the only reason I don't like the WB is I hate the thought of any contact with my fletching, that's it, nothing more, even if they shoot great like I hear, or are quiet, or any of the other "good" reasons, the thought of fletching contact is a no no for me, nothing more nothing less......................ohhh and I hate apples elmo

I know a few years ago, teatown was supposed to be opening up for hunters to use their lands, nevfer heard anything more of it
-
you don't ever need to touch the ground if you want.drive to your stand, step onto the ladder from your atv and climb up, the only law you would have to be concerned with is the loaded weapon on a vehicle, as was stated already
-
just apply for the 2nd drawing for 3s, you'll get 2
