  5. well in that case, perhaps the 5 people that show up with the shotguns happen to show up with the most accurate rigs you've seen..........and the rifle guys show up with junkers that would have trouble hitting the ground when dropped.............there goes your stats
  6. sat in a spot that Ive sat for the last 4 or so years, this is the first year that I have sat there and not seen deer there, wether they were close or far, but never been "skunked" in atleast seeing deer.until this year of well

  9. ive only ever made jerky from whole meat, not ground, and I've used any cut that would allow me to get pieces that I could cut into strips

  11. NO STEVE THATS NOT RIGHT IT INTFERED WITH HIS HUNt......sorry for yelling but I had to be computer basher guy
  12. yeah I'm the only one, and yeah out of my 349posts, now 350 I'm bashing people all over the place...maybe if you wrote something that made one bit of sense, no one would have said anything about your post, but then again, its only YOUR ethics that seem to matter, congrats you're the most ethical hunter I know

  14. I forgot, I don't lose money if I take a day off, my bad....................I think I"ll call out for tomorrow
  15. yeah its our fault cause you went from 1.5 hours before light, to two guys tracking a deer.............and somehow costing you $300.........got it
  16. the moose that was killed on rt684 was closer to 6 or years ago, and caused a 7-9 car pile up, it was buried right near where it was killed, the one that was killed in kent had been hanging out near clearpool education center( near Boyds rreservoir) and was letting people walk up and pet it, DEC put it down and latter determined that it was infected with brainworm
  17. it should say on the tag what unit it was for......atleast I think it does
  18. sat in a spot in 3k on Saturday, its a spot that in the 4 years Ive sat there I never got didn't leave the woods without seeing deer....until this past saturday

  20. where a buddy of mine lives, the local club big buck contest is for opening day only, if only a doe comes in, it wins
  21. first shot I heard on opening day was right at 6am, made me laugh when I heard it
  22. they are outside to begin the process, yeah I forgot all deer die in the woods in the shade....its an amazing thing that they search shade out to die in, must be more comfortable to die in the shade
  23. doc already said, as did I that the piles of deer don't sit there long, as they have guys working to get them inside and start processing, also stated that most of deer laid in the woods longer than they laid outside the processor, the processor might have the equipment because hes in the business of cutting meat up, while in the off season, I know the guy I used would be cutting beef up............but I guess he shouldn't have coolers for that, so that he can put out a good quality product and stay in business.............................ya know, next time I visit my mechanic buddy, I should ask him why he has 5 lifts in his shop, since I never see em all full all the time
