  1. Windows 8 and 8.1 is the biggest turd they ever came out with. Its the hardest system software to use, everything is scattered and very difficult to find. Windows 10 is a huge improvement over 8 and 8.1. And yes it has media player. I have had zero problems using IE, Firefox or Chrome browsers. Everything is easy to find, and not the stupid layout like smart phones and pads use. Im sure there are bugs yet I have not come across but they will release patches im sure. Been running 10 almost 60 days now and I no longer get pissed of or cringe using 10 like I did with 8 and 8.1. I recomend making the change.
  2. Okay this has been said in several post ex... here is a 5 with a 4 and a 1 1/2 in the background. Ummm how is one at 1/2 a year and the others not? I didnt know deer were born in the fall. I would say Grow its a 2.5 year old buck in your picture.
  3. Yep and in about a month they will be on sale 2 for 1. That is what happens here at TSC anyways. Same with our local nurseries. They start liquidating trees before winter.
  4. Well personally I wouldnt call speeding beating on a truck. Most often there is a boat, landscape trailer or enclosed trailer hooked to mine. Long trips heavy heavy loads, many times its on logging roads, getting the snot kicked out of it. I cant tell ya how many times I been chained up to a 4 wheel drive tractor with a wgon load of wood that was stuck in mud. I beat the hell out of my truck. I personally never had any Chevy I owned hold up to what the Dodges I have owned. We all have our stories and personal favorite brand, good thing they make choices.
  5. Creek Chub or also called Golden Shiner. Around here Creek Chub is common name. They can get pretty big too. Here on the SR we have caught some up to 16 inches. Fight like crazy but are not worthy of a frying pan.
  6. I had a chevy corsica company car given to me brand new to drive. This was 1999 or 2000, all 6 cylinders blew out the plugs, you get one fixed and bamm there goes another. Gm warranty fix, helicoils. I remember the mechanic saying hope it never needs plugs changed when the last helicoil went in it. That stupid car went back to the shop so many times the first 2 years for slipping transmision it was pathetic, it was just stupid, take it in for service it come out slipping gears, take it back it would be fine, this went on for 2 straight years before one guy finally found it had the wrong dipstick in the transmission.
  7. Hey thats not funny. Okay it was a little funny lol
  8. I forget the 1500 doesnt have leaf springs now. Been looking at new 2500's and they run leafs still. I have a pal from Ampsterdan who comes out every few years, he always comments about how huge US trucks are and why the heck doesnt american manufactures run indy rear ends yet.
  9. Can you say 2015 Ram Rebel? You know you want one.
  10. I may have sounded a bit rough about Chevys, sorry for that, they are great vehicles if your 90 years old and need to go get groceries once a week. :-)
  11. I find the comments sort of the exact opposite of what my experience has been. Chevy are 80k vehicles before they turn to a pile of junk. Played that game many times, last Chevy I had once I hit 60k I had the following fail, transmission, upper and lower ball joint, left and right wheel bearings, rear differntial gears, water pump, alternator the list just goes on and on. I have several friends and family who are diehard chevy guys, and they all trade up before 60k miles for a reason. Ford I have little experience and wont comment. Toyota no friggin way, Remember Pearl Harbor? Dodge is the only brand I will ever own again period. They been far the most reliable, longest lasting and even with 300k they still ride nice. I have replaced less parts on the last 3 dodges I owned with all at or close to 300k than 1 single chevy with 80k. My current truck Im again pushing 300k and I have replaced 1 wheel bearing last month and 1 ujoint in the drive shaft. Thats it other than general replacement stuff like brakes oil etc. I have a friend whos last new Chevy the rear axle broke out of it driving down the highway when it was new, the replacment the left rear caliper broke out of it again driving down the highway and destroyed the rim and tire. Just look at Chevys recall numbers, they far exceed all other manufacturers combined. Yet people cant swallow there pride and go buy another. Compare things such as suspension between the 2, Chevy 1/2 ton 3 leaf springs,Dodge 5. Look at the 4 wheel drive axle shafts. I have never had a single warranty issue either.
  12. Sure can, but Im not saying publicly, I will send you a private message.
  13. The Ausable is the place to fish, that is the big draw to the area for flyfishing. Spent hundreds of hours on that river. Theres no better in NY in my opinion.
  14. Look in the red circle.
  15. A tad late to the party Bubba lol
  16. My guess is if everyone went back and looked at all the previous years rut predictions they are pretty darn close to being the same dates. However many many people interpret the rut differently. Just ask what people call the rut. Here in NT and down to camp in ST its so close to being the same every year if you take 3 days off your bound to be in it at least one of those days.
  17. Uhhhhhhh If I ever stated anything incriminating on here I WAS HACKED it wasnt me. LOL
  18. Too watch them walk on by while I deer hunt is would be my preferred way to hunt them.
  19. This was a direct cut and paste from the website 2 days ago, yesterday it still said same thing. Today exception 4 is gone. This may be the one time the DEC actually listened to hunters and did something right lol. And after looking at the 2014-2015 deer season pdf from the website this was overlooked last year too. Wonder how many people used the previous years tag?
  20. LMFAO Must be they are reading this, its now been removed from the website.
  21. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/8305.html Scroll down on this link, you will see it being stated.
  22. You would be correct on the simple and common sense statement, however that is null and void when it comes to the DEC.
  23. Didnt get it from the guide book its on DEC website under hunting regulations. The pdf of the book doesnt shove the cover pages on it, on years past it tells you to refer to the DEC website for regulations and the book is for refernece or some wording of the sorts.
  24. I attached a link to the book in this thread, all you got to do is open it to have it, print it out too.
  25. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/8305.html Scroll down to Deer Tags and Privileges. Like I said they dont make things easy to figure out.
