I see a bottle of whisky in his pocket. a sawed of rifle, a controller for a shock collar around his neck, a zipper that needs zipping in the oddest place, oh and like Fast eddie a fat kid on a bike back in the woods. LOL What I have found extremely odd and upsetting is the ones who condone trespassing and tresspass themsleves are the first ones to post there land and turn another tresspassers butt in the clink. I know a couple people just like that and care not to associate with them whatsoever. There is no explaining to some non land owners the pride, expense, hard work and passion that goes into owning your own land and do not want it all spoiled in the hands of a tresspasser by any means. ASK its pretty simple process, if no one is home and your desire to hunt someones land is that great keep trying until you make contact. If the answer is no, its just that no. With millions of acres of state land throughout NY there is no excuse to not having a place to hunt. NONE. We all own that land who live in NY. Take advantage of it and if your too lazy to ask permission well, that should fit right in your pocket good cause the permission is already there. There isnt too many things in life worse than a thief or a trespasser, There are some but these are up there on my list.

I understand that I was anxioulsy awaiting a reply from a liberal. I wanted to hear there take on the question. But it was avoided apparently. For reasons unknown to any non-liberal I guess. lol -

No one can answer my question? -
Florida is not my favorite, we are in line for inhereting a place on the ocean in Key Largo. Get to spend some vacations there and the best part is coming home. Nice place to visit for a day or 2 but other than that it lacks mountains, privacy, woods, etc, but it does have plenty of old people lol. I do however want to change where I want to go. I would like to head somewhere Libtards dont exist. Anyone know of such a place? LOL

Why is it that when Liberals get offended they have no other path to take but throw Bush's name in? Is there no other defense for your masia other then Bush? Its old, worn out and just a very lame excuse at best. Get over it we are on term 2 with Obama just in case you Libs dont realize this yet. -

Man guys this has come up alot amongst friends and family since the big re-election alot. I can tell you if I leave NY its not going to be to another state its out of the country. ONe thing is keeping me here and that is family heritage. That is it. SInce the re-election of the great one into office I have had a friend pack up and move to Nicaragua where he bought an established coffee plantation for what we here in the USA would call dirt cheap. I have another one that is taking a 6 months at a time visiting different areas out of the usa to decide where his final resting place is going to be. Another one just sold all his stuff and is heading for ND by end of the month. If you do alot of research some of these places like Nicaragua are "undeveloped" vacation areas. They are being bought into right now cheap for future investments. People cant afford the luxury of Jamaica,Cancun and the likes for vacations and are heading to these places with just as much scenery but lack of development. Myself I have always been drawn to the glamour of New Zealand but have not looked into the taxes, health care or financials as Im afraid it will just entise me a bit more.

Nascar used to be fun to follow, it honestly sucks now. Dont get me wrong either cause Im not the bench racer waiting for the big wreck. It just gotten so over controlled and is sponsorship driven to the point they own every action of the drivers and they cant be themself anymore. When you take the passion out of the driver you take the passion out of the racing. When every action is being watched and you cant be yourself due to infractions and chance of sponsorship money being lost the fun is gone. My money and time is spent every saturday night watching supermodifieds and other short track local hometown racing where the passion is in your face. Nascar has become in my opinion a sit back and ride till the last 20 laps and then let her rip racing. The only thing they can do to get a leg up is not get caught cheating the rulebooks. Give some room in the rulebooks again, limit the number of disposable race cars they have, let em be racers first and not walking billboards and it would be fun again. If you go watch a 468 ci big block open wheel supermodified race nascar will look like a joke to you buy the end of the day. Thats racing at its best along with alot of other hometown racing including sprints on dirt and asphalt.

I am betting he is running for the big office in 2016, as far as voting a republican in office in NY it just wont happen, unfortunate for republicans but NYC just out votes them. I feel his strategy is to set himself up for a presidential run with look at what I did in NY. The thing is up till past few months I felt he brought a bit of republican views to the table and liked some of the things he has done. But he sure wiped all that out in the past couple months. It makes me really think that his actions were pursuaded and not his in order to have a campaign in 2016 to run with. Damn I really miss Reagan. One thing I havent really followed to date but what has Cuomo done for NYC to get people back on there feet? I see clips here and there where there are thousands of people still without a place to call home. WIll these unfortunate people remember as well when they go to the polls. Its odd because I really believe most people follow a guideline of looking at a person who did a 100 great things in life and all they remember is the 1 bad thing, but yet when it comes to polititians its the opposite, they look at the 1 good thing they did and forget the 100 bad things. Something I dont think I will ever understand myself.

LIke I said, why do you think it was in the middle of the week on a work day? They wanted minimal attendance, not having a clue or answers to the questions is Why. But hey they get to say they held a public meeting and the attendance was small so apparrently no one is too concerned. Just another political scam like always. -

Ummm so after all this searching for anyone else to confirm what you say you saw I have to ask how many have confirmed the same results in this quest of yours? What is the obsession with trying to find someone to confirm what you believe was a mountain lion anyways?

Uhhh yeah I would say they are both wack jobs after watching those videos. -
I can honestly say I have never watched a football game on tv. Just something odd about a bunch of guys in tight pants jumping on top of each other then getting up and slapping each other on the rear end. Yep something odd about it alright. LOL

I dont see that as a problem if played out right. You cant go in and put a foodplot in all at once. There are stages to it, so while waiting for a soil test to come back, he could be clearing his next plot, then the period after liming before fertilizing and planting for lime to make its optimal effect he can return to the second plot and start lime etc and work others into that rotation. If he also worked out different first planting for say a spring planting vs a fall planting he could very well be in different stages with many foodplots in the rotation. Good planning would be key. There are a ton of guys who own camps some distance from home that do not have equipment or the means to transport equipment. The tough thing would be getting numbers to work where people can afford it and money made is worth the effort and profitable. The tougher thing is to get people to let go of finances in this harsh economy and now with threats of gun control bringing us hunters to an all time emotional low.

I sure think it is realistic to get the scope on target. You only need to shoot it once and then move the crosshairs to the point the bb hit the target. Now your on paper and dial it in from there which should be awfully darn close to spot on.

If it was as simple as saying something like 1000 bucks per acre and your golden Im sure people would. You have to take into account the cost of your equipment, machine consumable cost, liability insurance, taxes, etc etc etc. Set a depreciation and payout time on said equipment. Set yourself up with an ideal of what you want to make per hour on top of the expenses. Then you have a point where you can start quoting people on. Im sure Im forgetting even more but its late and Im tired lol. So once you have that baseline of what you need to make to cover cost and what you want to make for profit per hour, you would have to evaluate each parcel for a foodplot differently based on the work required to clear it, the amount of lime it will need, the amount of fertilizer required, the amount of seed required and you got yourself some numbers to give out. Just from a DIY standpoint I would estimate that my plots for example minus all the equipment I already have and my own free labor would be like this. for 1 acre, fuel expense to work the ground $50, herbacide $50, Lime $300, fertlizer $ 200, seed $100 =$700 rough guess on my last plot. Say you want to make $20 and hour x that by 2 to estimate equipment and insurance etc. A 1 acre brushy plot with no large growth, maybe slightly overgrown field we will say. 50 hours labor from herbacide to seed. $2700 bucks per simple plot acre would be my guesstimate to get you a fair wage for your work. You get $1000 bucks before taxes, after tax you end up with $610 for a weeks worth of hard work. The largest problem with coming up with estimates is not leaving too much money on the table and not trying to take too much off it. And that is if you are solo, your own accountant, your own account receivables and payables. etc Even then I think this number is low for profit margins to be sustainable.

Here we go....
wdswtr replied to WNYBuckHunter's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Honestly is there people actually stupid enough to believe this crap feel good policy proposals? I mean who is stupid enough to believe that just because a rifle has a pistol grip, or any of the stupid details claimed in these bills that makes them illegal to own are more deadly than any other rifle out there? Feel Good Politiions trying to shut the anti-gun fanatics up with virtually useless strategy to stop any crime invovled with a weapon of any choice. Yet we know what the future holds, as more guns get banned crime rates and murder rates rise, the obvious answer is ban more guns to the point the crime rate is so high and there is nothing left for self protection let alone to hunt which will be an American pastime. How in the world do these people keep getting elected into office? This isnt funny anymore its real, in your face real. If we stay on this path I will guarantee you I wont be burried in the country, I will live my life out some where else. When our freedoms are being taken away, our money given away, our rights disappearing and every reason behind being American are in jeopardy, there is no reason to not live somewhere else. Think about what it took our ancestors to do to get to America and this is how we thank them? We rip every reason why they moved here to start our bloodline in america only to shame them in the end. Disgraceful to even think about. -
You lost me at the white pines give off the most heat. LOL you setting them on fire? Never heard a tree that gives off heat unless its on fire. I think I will plant a bunch in my house and I wont have to cut wood ever again.
