When caught poaching I say cut their dang hands off,on the other hand that would put their cost of living in our hand.My idea would be to put them to work without pay cleaning our forests riverbanks roadsides with no chance of Hunting nor Fishing ever again.

This is sad that this lady lost her life to recklessness, and it does make the Hunting/Hunters look bad.This is not the first time an not the last this will happen regardless of the firearm/bow/crosbow.The laws in NY are written in black and white but they also differ from area to area.I'll use my area for example we can't use a rifle for deer hunting but can go and hunt coyotes with them at any hours.Also I can hunt Turkeys/spring 1/2 before sunrise so this is where I can see Hunters making the same mistake.The key here is know your target before shooting.

My Dad was an avid duck hunter I just was searching an old box of his things and found a really old call.Trying to get some Ducks to respond but not sure how to use this call,It is a P.S.OLT PEKIN,ILLS.This is driving me crazy doesn't sound like any Duck that I have heard

We do have several Elk Farms in NY not the same as wild but fun and exciting to see such a animal

I am for what ever Deer we can hunt.Elk Whitetail Moose.I do not know where I would ever put it's mount/antlers if I ever shot one hanging them on sheds/barns is not my choice

I have several blinds my best is a pile of logs/downed trees covered with a tarp.I do purchase these blinds tents in the off season for the Kids to play with/in.

I wear camo/also have a wool suit of my Dads.Camo is a money making concept I do not believe what you wear is a problem to the deer as long as your scent is covered.I have noticed that I can spot more hunters wearing camo in the wood's than regular clothes.My eyesight/Deer's observation in the wood's is most likely to spot any movement.When Hunting State land I want to be seen so I wear blaze

I haven't been able to do this this season just wondering how many members do donate?I miss giving some venison to others that need some meat for their meals

No I have not I am a dummy to these things,This is the same computer that I started with about 11/12 years ago when I started using and joined this site I had know idea as to what I was doing.Infact while most have wireless phones my home phone still hangs on the kitchen wall no not a rotary but does have the coil reciever to base.

I have no worst day of Hunting ever My best Days are still to come.I have not shot nor killed/Harvested any Deer yet this season but the few times out have been great.

Is it myself or does the deer take seem to be down this season?I have only seen a handful maybe 20 in my area that have been taken/in years past by now most everyones freezers were stuffed.
