  1. I am interested in buying a Stag Arms AR-15 mainly for target shooting out at Calverton. I don't know much about them other than that they are Semis, they come in two different chambers, .223 and 5.56. Don't know much about how they shoot, recoil, balance, handling etc. I've seen some at Campsitesportshop.com and they have the Cuomo Compliant ARs which I guess I'm stuck with. This is the one I'm interested in: http://www.campsitesportshop.com/html/firearms-rifles-ny-compliant.asp?action=view&ID=4577&cat=142 They also have a Stag 1NY, 2NY and 3NY. Not sure of the differences between each of them. Anyone have, use, shoot this particular model? Can you put a scope on this one? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. DT
  2. Here is the one I use... Adirondack Venison Chili Ingredients: 1 pound ground venison (increase lbs depending on how many servings) 1 tablespoon butter 1 small onion, minced 1 green pepper, chopped 1 large can chili beans or kidney beans 1 can (16 ounces) can stewed tomatoes Salt and pepper to taste 2 teaspoons chili powder 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms Hot sauce to taste In a large skillet with a lid, brown venison in butter, breaking the ground meat into small pieces as you brown it. Add onion and green pepper and cook until onion begins to brown, about 5 minutes. Stir often. Add beans, tomatoes, salt, pepper, chili powder, mushrooms, and enough hot sauce to suit your taste, stirring occasionally. Cook about 1 hour over medium heat. Make ahead of time. Reheated it is even better!
  3. Maybe we should have saved it and let the smart deer vote and strip the commenters of their rights to vote. Perhaps then we could have a POTUS with a brain!
  4. Thanks LarryI just nearly spit my coffee allover my kitchen table reading the dumba$$ comments. Lol. I was surprised noone commented that they heard the deer grunting "help me!" Lol!
  5. Congrats! Nice looking buck. He sure is mountable!
  6. Looks like shes posing for a centerfold in Kitty Kat magazine! Lol!
  7. And yet another shooting in a "Gun-free Zone" at an Oregon Community College with reports of 10 killed and 20 injured. Seems like these zones are not working very well to protect anyone from wackjobs but rather acting like magnets to attract them. Prayers and thoughts to the families of the victims.
  8. Yes same person. Lol. This view never gets old for me. - Deerthug

  14. Lifelock works. I was a victim earlier this year when someone got my info and tried to open 5 Att wireless accounts and various credit cards. I was notified from Att as Im a customer and immediately signed up for Lifelock. It has prevented fraudulent CC accounts from being opened. Also contact one of the three credit reporting agencies Transunion, Equifax and Experian and request that a fraud alert be placed. This will automatically notify the two other bureaus. Free for 90 days and for small fee its on for 7 yrs. Anyone that attempts a credit check must call a contact number you designate before running the check. Lifelock basic is about $90 a year but premium is $180 which includes monitoring your financial accounts and transactions over a certain amount. You get emails from LL asking if a particular transaction was yours and if it wasnt they investigate for you. Also provide up to $1 million in coverage for hiring experts etc to get your identity back.
  15. Good luck Gregg. Thoughts and prayers that you continue to be cancer free.
