Oh my. I remember those days. Sometimes I wish were still there.

The quotes are backwards because you have a space between the first one and the word marks. The iPad does " the same thing"

So I pulled the trigger and upgraded to the S4 and after playing with it for the last hour or so, I'm very pleased! Actually not that difficult to learn the new OS but there is so much more that you can do with this open platform than the IOS system on the iPhone. I don't know why I waited so long to switch! Just need to pick up a microSD card and I'm good to go.

I can't wait until the cooler weather. Come down to LI to feel the heat. I dropped my jeep off this morning at the mechanic and walked back 1/2 mile to my house and I was sweating bullets. Thick soupy mess by me.

Thanks for all your input. I'm still on the fence. I read both great reviews and horrible reviews about both phones. I've read some users complain about lag in opening an app in the S4 and nothing really different on the iPhone 5 other than a curvier design and thinner. My daughter suggests I get the iPhone 5. Says the S4 is like having another tablet. What to do .... What to do..... I know list the Pros and Cons S4 pros - bigger screen. - faster processor - larger storage capacity - usb charger. (Have many) - cool features S4 Cons - new OS - sync issues? - need new Otterbox case iPhone 5 pros - same OS with some differences - syncs well with other apple gadgets - thinner iPhone 5 cons - same old apple - need new case and chargers - same old apple Can you all guess which way im leaning?

I have had an upgrade with ATT available for the last few years. I've owned a iPhone 4 since it first came out which has served me well. I also use an iPad 2 and an iMac desktop. All work seamlessly together. But I've been thinking of pulling the trigger and switching to the Galaxy S4. I know: "if it ain't broke don't fix it". So why would I want to switch? - Faster Processor - Removable battery - More storage (microSD card) - Micro USB charger v. getting new iPhone 5 charger (i have many micro usb chargers laying around from my Blackberry days) - 13mp camera v. 8mp camera (I use my phone for pictures more than I use my Canon) - Larger screen (My eyes are getting worse as I get older) - Cooler features on S4 (wave hand to answer etc) - Easily syncs with iMac, iPad using Syncmate based upon the reviews I read - I want a new phone Has anyone been a dedicated iPhone user and made the switch? What were your thoughts on learning a new operating system? Did anyone switch back to iPhone after using the S4? Why? I would appreciate any input . . . .

I am so sick and tired of turning on the TV and seeing every news channel wasting so much air time on the thug who attacked George Zimmerman and making the thug look like an innocent child. Not to mention our idiot leader who ridiculously stated that if he had a son he would have looked like the thug or that the thug could have been him 35 years ago. Then there are those racist self proclaimed reverends who are spewing justice for the thug and stirring the pot with their vigils and marches. How about this ..... You won't recognize me. My name was Antonio West and I was the 13-month old child who was shot at point blank range by two teens who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also shot. A Grand Jury of my mommy's peers from Brunswick GA determined the teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty...too bad I was given a death sentence for being innocent and defenseless. My family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder was not ruled a Hate Crime. Nor did President Obama take so much as a single moment to acknowledge my murder. I am one of the youngest murder victims in our Nation's history, but the media doesn't care to cover the story of my tragic demise, President Obama has no children who could possibly look like me - so he doesn't care and the media doesn't care because my story is not interesting enough to bring them ratings so they can sell commercial time slots. There is not a white equivalent of Al Sharpton because if there was he would be declared racist, so there is no one rushing to Brunswick GA to demand justice for me. There is no White Panther party to put a bounty on the lives of those who murdered me. I have no voice, I have no representation and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat innocently in my stroller - I no longer have my life. So while you are seeking justice for Trayvon, please remember to seek justice for me too. Tell your friends about me, tell you families, get tee shirts with my face on them and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Trayvon. Thank you.

I met my wife at my first job working at Waldbaum's. I was 16 years old and she was 17. i was a cashier and she was the front end manager who trained me. This was at a time when there were no scanners and barcodes. Everything had to be manually inputed into the register. I was not allowed to touch the money so after inputting the prices I would sit back on the conveyor belt and every time I sat back her hand happened to be there. We went to the same college for a year then I transferred to another local college graduated and then went away to law school in Michigan and she continued on with her masters locally. We got engaged during my last semester in law school. Married at 25. This August will be 30 years that we've known each other, 22 of which we've been married, own a house, and two kids ( a 16 yo girl and 12 yo boy) and looking at colleges already. Who would have thunk it 30 yrs. ago??

Saw this posted on Roger Raglin's FB page. It's a report about a would be thief who stole a computer from a store and ran out the store where he stabbed a marine collecting toys for tots. Hmmm.... that curb must have been really high . . .

This is an interesting take on what went on in the jurors minds during the trial and deliberations. This was on USAToday.com. Here is the link. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/07/15/anderson-cooper-zimmerman-juror/2519569/ When the six jury members in the George Zimmerman trial went in for deliberation, three were for acquittal, one was for second-degree murder and two were for the manslaughter charge, one of those jury members told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Monday. But as they reviewed the evidence, the jurors felt that Zimmerman truly feared for his life when he pulled the trigger. The juror's identity was not revealed, but was identified as "B-37," on Anderson Cooper 360°. She said that she wanted to remain "cautious" and didn't want her face shown. Earlier Monday, literary agent Sharlene Martin said she had signed one of the Zimmerman jurors to write a book about her experience on the panel, and also identified that juror as B-37, which was the juror's official court designation during the trial. That juror said Zimmerman was "a man whose heart was in the right place," but he went too far and did not use good judgment. Zimmerman, 29, a neighborhood watch volunteer in a gated townhouse community, shot and killed Trayvon Martin, 17, on Feb. 26, 2012. Zimmerman, who is Hispanic, claimed he shot the unarmed African-American teenager in self-defense. That juror said she didn't think the shooting was racially motivated and that Zimmerman would have reacted the same way to someone of any race. She and the other five members deliberated for more than 15 hours before finding Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter Saturday. She added that Zimmerman did have the right to carry his pistol, but he should have stayed in his car that night and not have gotten out to follow Trayvon. She did think that Zimmerman did have the right to own a pistol. "I think he has every right to carry a gun," she said. "I think it's everyone's right to carry a gun" as long as they use it responsibly. The juror said that she thinks it was Trayvon who threw the first punch in the subsequent physical altercation that night and that she believed Zimmerman's account of what happened that night. "I think George was pretty consistent and told the truth basically," she said. She said that both sets of parents likely believe that it was their child calling for help on the 911 tape. "They are your kids you want to believe they are innocent," she said. As for the juror herself, she was "sure" that it was Zimmerman calling for help. She said that the laws they had to consider were "very confusing" so they took their time to think through it all carefully. Then, after they gave the bailiff their decision, they cried. "It was just hard thinking that someone had lost their life and nothing else could be done about it," she said. "It's a tragedy that this happened."
