Hmmmmmmmmmm ! Is there a limit on how many ball point pens a person can carry to protect himself / herself ?

Trespassing is illegal ! What's to understand about that .... Many are assuming the guy is after his dogs . Who knows . I was brought up to respect the property of others and not to go on it without permission . But , I suppose that's "old school" .

Attended the dinner last night at the American Legion Hall in Ontario , NY . There were a few guest speakers Wayne County Sheriff - Barry Virts Wayne County Clerk - Mike Jankowski Wayne County Justice - Honorable Dennis Kehoe and a representative from SCOPE They gave opinions on the NYS SAFE Act and answered some questions . Sheriff Virts handed out some papers that explained much of the SAFE Act . Judge Kehoe was limited as to what he could say as a Justice but he is a gun owner and said that the only thing that would hold up any Pistol Permit applications is the amount that are being processed . He has to wait for the background checks to be done before they hit his desk .

It would have been simpler if they removed the list and had the folks that wanted to , Opt In !!!

Too long and for the most part , it was boring !

I bought the Wildgame rangefinder with the Angle Inclination from the Sportsman's Guide and received it today . It looks like it is going to be fun to use the upcoming fall hunting season . The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't use a conventional battery . It takes a CR2 that can be pricy and not available in all stores . Even crooks are lazy . The odds are that they would use the driveway for convenience so they could load stolen items in a vehicle . I would put camo on any sensor left out . A few years ago friends of ours from Williamson were robbed when they weren't home . It was during the winter months and they had photos of footprints left in the snow and tied it in with some other robberies . Apparently the thieves would watch homes and look for a pattern as to when the home owners would come and go and figure the best time to perform a robbery . They took cameras , TVs , VCR and jewelry . Some of the jewelry was of sentimental value . The thieves were caught and were wearing the snearers that made the prints . Another friend on Ridge Road in Ontario said his neighbors across the street were working in the back yard . The wife came into the house to find someone with her purse . He ran out the front door , jumped in a waiting car and they sped off . We used to leave our garage door open all night long and have the cars unlocked in the driveway . Not any more . Thieves hit out tract and the one behind us a few years ago . The cops said that the culprits would hit Newark then Ontario , go to Lyons , etc and jump around the county . I had 2 pellet rifles taken from my garage in broad daylight because I had left the garage door open for some carpenters . ADT is a good system to use also !

If you have a Harbor Freight nearby , you could grab one of these . I have used a similar one for a different purpose . When something is picked up by the sensor , the unit will beep for a bit and the light will flash . I have found Mossberg to be accomodating in the past . Bushnell is the one that gets me . I have a cap missing from one of my pistol scopes . I called and told them it was a Bushnell , the model type , a 2X7 , etc . I was told that they needed the exact model number , serial number , where it was manufactured , etc .. What the heck ! I have a scope on another Contender barrel that I may move back and forth between the two barrels .

It's either that or complaining about Obama and Cuomo or the weather . Gotta have some entertainment .
