I haerd a lot of shooting opening day in Geneseo . Kinda hard to relate to your situation since you list being in the United States . A bit difficult to help sometimes when folks post Upstate , Western NY , Central NY , etc .. Makes me wonder if they are ashamed of where they are from ! :

What's the big deal . Someone didn't know all the rules & regs and get chasized (sp) for that . I think he is straightened out and I hope is is able to get a tag signed over to him and scores a doe . I do the same but I get on-line and check the AccuWeather for the area I plan to hunt before I leave . Then I will have an idea od wind , temp , rain , clear , etc . . I will also have an idea of the forecasted weather changes .

It appears they PROFILE old ladies in wheelchairs , Nuns and young kids . I know something needs to be done but what about the young Arab looking males that need a closer look . And now the Muslim Community doesn't want their women being Body searched and no doubt the Liberals will give them a free pass . Do the X-Ray or Body Search . If you don't comply - You don't fly ! I want people and luggage checked out before I get on a plane !

Who makes a decent set of butcher knives for a reasonable price ? I bought one of the knife sets at Gander Mt a few years ago . They can be sharpened but don't hold a cutting edge .

I think they should also be able to profile people .

I set up a tent blind in Geneseo this am that allowed me to view half of a pasture lot and an open field . I was set up by 6:30 and stayed there until 11:30 . I didn't see a thing . Around 10 am my sister in law walked along the gulley edge to see if she might kick anything out and then went up and down her lane-way . Nuttin ! I had heard shooting north of me between 7:30 - 8:30 . It was cold and breezy . I left at 11:30 , got something to eat , took care of a few things and was back in the blind before 2 pm . Still nothing . At 4:45 I saw a doe and a fawn walking up the middle of the adjacent field about 200+ yards away . I packed up and left just after 5 pm .

I have used the plastic buckets and tripod chairs but I stay on stand for a long time and need a backrest so the folding chairs or cheap plastic deck chairs are what I need to use .

I hunt in the rain and snow and with the baloon , I don't have to worry about moisture in the barrel and the the powder getting damp / wet .

I got rid of my Chevy S10 and bought a Subaru Forester . Bought a trailer for the ATV . I use that trailer to haul my deer . The drag on it cuts down the gas milage on a day's hunting trip but it sure works fine for me .

They have been practicing QDM in Italy Valley between Naples and Potter for over 3 years now . Several property owners have joined . They are seeing more and more larger bucks since they started the program . One of my sons has property there that is adjacent to State Land . I don't deer hunt there since it is too hilly and slippery for me .

I hope "5 Guys" didn't leave a blood trail ..........
