I received a $10 Dick's Reward Certificate and a statement that I have a balance of 201 points . They also sent me a card for 100 points and a certificate for 50 points . For those that aren't familiar with Dick's , if you have their Scorecard , which is free , you get one point for each dollar purchase . When you accumulate 300 points , you earn a $10 Rewards Certificate . It's a win - win . -
Check out the Epic Camera Test in the gear reviews forum . It only has a 2X magnification and you have to make sure you keep your bow arm up to follow the deer .

I cut as many as I could along the trail down the hill . It was slippery and if it was this way going to the stand to hunt , I didn't want to get tangled up when I go down to hunt . I caught one of them across the nose and I am taking blood thinner so I bled for a while .

I shot my 1st bow buck a few minutes after I pee'd from a stand . 3 bucks walked behind my stand and I nailed a 7 pointer about 7 yards from the tree . -
We put up 3 ladder stands and did some trimming . My son debated whether or not he was going to hunt that property this year and figured he would since it's only about 20 miles from where he moved to . I got pretty wet as I changed from a heavier waterproof jacket to a lighter non rain jacket . I set up a Dog House Blind also while we were there . I was cutting those damned multi-floral roses up and down one trail . I hate those things !

The Bills have been cleaning house . They traded Lynch today which is no surprise . But ....... they get a 4th round draft pick next year and a 6th rounder in 2012 . It's not broke . Don't fix it . A couple of threads on here would get locked on other sites and someone would get a pm telling him to settle down , blah , blah , blah ! There is enough Political Correctness in the world without bringing it to this site . Members have had to Freedom to argue their points / views etc.. Heading for South Bristol tomorrow to meet up with my oldest son and put up a couple of ladder stands . The property is off Rt 21 on the lake side . I usually hit that spot about twice a year . It's about a 48 mile drive for me but about a 22 mile drive for my son . The property is around old overgrown vinyards .

Practice and practice from the distance and positions that you would while hunting . If you hunt from a blind , practice shooting from a chair . The same for a treestand . Nothing worse than practicing from the ground and then hunting from a 20' high treestand !

I have a rangefinder but I don't use it for bowhunting . I don't shoot beyond 35 yards .

WE have enough laws as it is and many of them aren't enforced until the guy that breaks it for the 1st time in his life gets caught . As they say in Wayne County , "we doan need no steenkin' laws" ! ;D ... ;D
