    I had a couple of built-ins years ago but I had the screw in steps (my property) , I currently have a ladder stand but will be putting in a built-in after this season --- I miss the built in ! If you pick the right spot they produce year after year !

    170 grain is a fine choice and good on deer ! Been shooting 150/170 grain out of my 30-30 for 30 plus years and never a problem !

    I was in my stand by 6:30 and stayed for 3 hours ... nothing . Going back in an hour and hoping !

    I've had encounters with officers but very rare ...always been cordial and I returned the same !

    This being my first year with the bow I'm thinking taking a Doe would satisfy the need to "get one under my belt" , after that I'll be looking for a decent buck !
