  2. btw, i remember from hunter safety...... thatwas 21 years ago. no average person can tell you that you cant recover your deer, except the guys in green with a sidearm and a badge.
  3. never heard of such a thing. if was to shhot a deer, it went to my idiot neihbors yard, it dont matter if they give you permission, dec will take care of it.
  4. why cant you go get it? isnt that a law that you can? they arent dec. go get your deer, and if youre that intimidated, call the calvalry. you will get your deer.

  6. opening afternoon, had my daughter with me, her tenth birthday today, so we went together. She was watching a lower meadow while i was wtching the top and she spotted two doe come out of some tall grass/goldenrod. they crossed the creek, came up into our area and took one after she came into an open lane. It was awesome for my daughter, she was pretty stoked. I shot it at a guesstimation of 75 yards with my new 7mm08. She ran into the field and dropped. blew her heart in 2. Tagged and hanging from the chainfalls in the garage right now, will take for processing in the morning.
  7. shot this one at about 545 pm. lots of movement, and my father in law shot a beaut of an 8 point a half hour before me. ill post a pic of him tomorrow.
  8. Phade is hitting the nail on the head. most field edge scrapes are night time hits. I think, if you can set up about 40 yards inside the scrape line, you will have great oppurtunity, then again, i dont know the terrain. mowed grass, high goldenrod, cut corn field? if you figure out the bedding area and direction of travel, you got it made.
  9. good choice in muzzleloader. i have that and its a good gun.
  10. holy hell!!!! thats a nasty buck right there!!!
  11. October 14..... 5 doe, one 6 point. 6g tomorrow took off, ill hit the new spot again.
  12. saw 5 doe and a 6 point. wish i had clean shots..... I was a little sketched out on the distance. about 90 to 100 yards maybe.
  13. im a smoker, and yes, i see as many deer when im smoking, or if im not. I think maybe in remote areas where the smoky smells arent around, it may be a red flag, but thats just my thoughts.
  14. here are some pics........ engine is a little dirty from driving around, will clean right up.

  16. i live across from 4000 acres of state land, with another 3000 around the corner, and tons more up the road. I dont hunt it because I have family farmland that i hunt. usually fairly quiet too.
  17. it was good until he said sitting on beach under a palm tree and crap. ive been busting my butt my whole life, make a good living, and dont forsee myself retired in that circumstance. if retired at all.
