    damn doc, that sucks. I really hear ya n the frustration. thats alot of money, and time on top of that stolen. I woud hunt them down and break their hands. but thats just me. I feel for you. I have never had anything stolen, but if i did, i would break a bone.

    i know here in my area i see bucks chasing does usually late october thru mid november. thats what i normally pay attention to. i dont really know the science behind the whole rut. Always seems to be different every season.

    I signed one of my tags over to him, and we buried a doe at 145 yards, dropped it dead in its tracks. Very good experience fr the both of us, and I am very proud of him. Glad i lent him my 760 for a week to practice.

    how does this youth hunt work. the rules are kind of confusing. During these 3 days, how does it work with bucks and does? does he have to have a dmp? please clarify for me. I know i sound kind of silly, but im getting to much here say on this topic, and the dec rules arent exactly easy to understand. It kind of contradicts itself.

    just got back in. didnt see anything. heard alot of shots, but it was coming from sandy pond. duck hunters. Didnt hear any of those pesky spine shots. What do those sound like? haha

    I think you should just use some common sense. Use your brain and prepare. Its not cool to be a statistic. And, like learned in hunter ed, mechanical devices fail, such as rifles, bows, etc. So, if you think its so funny on how no one taught you to get down, you didnt pay any attention. This stuff is not a joke.

    i took my buddies boy out tonight. passsed on a few doe and one fork horn. gettin back at it tomorrow. I think its a god deal to get these kids motivated into the outdoors. hunting/fishing or what the hell ever.

    i would agree. ive seen it myself. its wierd, and i often think that danger season has been adapted to them. just my 2 cents though. im wierd.

    its fun playing with them like that. had a nice spike staring me down the other day, but once i flipped the cam on him he said see ya. musta been camera shy. he was on amish land, so they must be rubbing off on him.

    yes, i do hunt in the rain,, but i have yet to bowhunt, and want to so bad, just cant get the time for a course. was gonna do it over the summer but mandatory over time put a kabash on that. but yes, i will take any and every oportunity to get in the woods.

    i tried too. i agree with wny. not effective, plus i threw my phone in the swamp a year ago and havent had one since, so i dont know if they are better now or not.

    glad ur ok too. i get sketched out on some tree stands myself sometimes. i must admit, i dont use the harness system as much as i should, you just never know.

    ok..... i have nothing to cover. im doing nothing illegal. i have nothing in a pile, other than wood and leaves. now, if i went out and piled an a$$load of cracked corn, some block clover and apples, then yes, i understand the sh!t talk. and fyi, i dont always sit right at the plot. once in a blue moon i will. i have over 600 acres to hunt, so i have lots of places to go. i do it for the qdm. before you run your mouth, know what you are talking about.

    yeah. i hope to keep him into it. hope my own kids do.... there playing xbox and ipod as we speak and drives me nuts. all i had to play with when i was a kid was a wood pile and a wood closet. couldnt wait for hunting season.
