    On WMA lands during any gun and muzzleloader hunting season for deer, bear and hogs, all hunters, including small game hunters, must wear either a hat, coat, or vest of solid visible international orange. Archery hunters during archery only deer seasons and hunters for dove, turkey, ducks, geese and other migratory birds (including crows) are exempt from this requirement while hunting for those species. Don't know about private land?

    We took 3 buck and a doe this year. 68 acres. In the immediate area 16 buck and about 10 doe.

    I have a 1187 autoloader. I love it. It's about 30 years old and very heavy! Only sighted in once dead on!

    My boy of 14 will be put down tomorrow. He has been blind for a few weeks now and last night I believe he had a stroke. Both back legs don't work. He is resting now and not in pain. I will take him to the Vet tomorrow. Some pictures of him in his prime he was good hunter and best friend! I'll miss you Mac!

    I wasn't feeling well and not sleeping much. We took the week off before gun to bow hunt and stayed until that following Monday. I managed to shoot a 7 pt with bow and a beautiful 9 pt with gun in that week span. I just didn't feel it and was robbed of that excitement when you score. Other than that all good.

    We see fawns with spots at the January firearm season on LI.

    We have some big ones in Steuben county I have personally seen bigger dogs than coyotes in our woods.

    When I go up to the cabin in January I'll take a walk and small game hunt. We also have the January deer season on the Island. I don't need another deer in te freezer but again I'll walk and do some pushes for the guys.

    I drove 6 hours last night to get the last day in. Bumped 3 buck and 6 doe walking in. lol I wish!!! Been a great season!

    I had a great season. Bow 7 pt and a 9pt with gun. We prepare so much it comes and goes so quick. I guess that is good, keeps us looking for the next adventure!

    Deer shot a month ago with a crossbow. i guess this spot is for real! Very tough animals!!! FYI not my picts
