Who works at these casinos? Is it like AC? That is what I worry about.

You could of bet this was going to happen. I don't trust those tracking companies and don'T want to see NYS go to ****. Look at what is happening now. Oil at 50 bucks a barrel and fracking co's going out of business. It will look like a war zone of unfinished business out there. I don't want that. I think its a good decision.

We hunted 9 and 10 the last two years. Walk walk and walk some more. Keep pushing them and you will see deer. We saw a total of 25 in one day. Only saw 1 buck though but plenty of sign

Continue to increase my green field at the lower part of my property. Build three permanent stands. Hopefully be able to buy the 10acres that is next to me.

My brother is at Ridge right now. He talked to the people there and they said it will be announced on the 31st. Right now they are taking reservations for weekend shot gun but they said that can change on a dime.

It's amazing how many guys are saying they extended the season for bow and you can hunt on weekends with gun. I can't find one piece of evidence to back this up. Where are hunters getting there info from?? Its like that old fish tale that gets bigger and bigger as its passed along. Hope it happens but I don't see it officially announced.

Think about it, it was only one spot in a whole bunch of tracks and other pee spots. Buck is the minority in the group. I like Joe's thinking on this. I will send the pict to the DEC office to get their take.

Looking over the internet it seems there really isn't an answer. Some say blood, some say it's buck urine or a doe in heat. I found what Joe said to be interesting. There was a lot of it also.

The holes that were made were clean and not all over the place. This was definitely blood, it was not amber or orange in color.

Sam I'm pretty sure it was blood. Dark red mixed with the urine. I saw it in 3 spots and each time it was a hole through the snow where the pee melted it away.

Put a big fat doe in the freezer, all good!

670 miles round trip. Bowhunted 6 days, gun hunted 7 days and muzzleloader 2 days. That was in 4 trips for the entire season. 2680 miles!!

It was in her pee for sure.

Yes, it was crazy. I pulled up along side of the deer and was thinking I was seeing things. Hope no one got hurt.

Zach and I had a great weekend. See my other posts about the crazy stuff that went on. He saw a total of 7 deer I saw none. It was great seeing him and enjoying time together. Nothing like venison bacon burger for breakfast and dinner……..

So we were up at the cabin this weekend. My friend Zach tells me he sees 2 doe and two fawns headed his way. They get to thirty yards and stop. No shot yet, one of the fawns starts playing around and is pushing the older does jumping up and down doing 360's. She sees him and runs over to him and does the same to him. Here is a guy holding a gun ready to shoot you and you play around with him. He showed me the spot he was standing and I saw all the prints from what the deer was doing. The Mom finally makes him and they take off with the little one behind. He would of never of shot the little one. He was kind of speechless when I got to him simply because he was amazed at what the deer did.

While walking around the property I found two pee marks that were all blood satined. I think a doe was coming in ready to breed. Any thoughts??

Coming home from camp I was in the middle lane headed east. A car was doing about 20 mph in the right hand lane. In front of it was a deer running for its life! I passed the deer and saw it had no escape except for moving forward. There were those huge sound barriers on each side. I hope it didn't cross traffic because it could of caused a tremendous accident. Crazy things you see…..
