Just saw a bunch of tracks by grass areas and under apple trees. 8P and there was no hard crust of ice for them to dig through.

Thanks! Got up here just in time. Had a white-out come through for a half hour. Cabin is 70 degrees….I love my neighbor!!

Might sound crazy going to a colder place but it's time to get away. Kids want to go so we leave in an hour and will com back Tuesday. Town was nice enough to plow to my driveway so we could get in. My neighbor cleared the rest. They plow up to my neighbors house and my driveway is another 300 feet away. Its a seasonal road and I'm not full time. They are nice enough to do it on special occasions. The heat has been on 24 hrs now so it should be in the 50's this morning! lol He will get the wood stove going today and that will bring it right up. Just going to kick back and relax!

15 degrees and a foot of snow in the Catskills one year. It was a great time.

If I have cabin fever at my home on L.I. why am I headed to my cabin upstate this weekend??? Oxymoron

My last day should of been next Friday the 13th. They are extending it another month for a transition period. My boss is also leaving and the funny thing is the new boss taking over wants to keep me but her hands are tied. Crazy crazy stuff out there. This is good for me because my new venture will not start until June. Pretty much gives me March -May off. Lots of time to Turkey hunt and get two new stands built!

My brother in law upstate has gone through all different types of stoves over the years. For the last 10 years its been coal. He loves it, very warm in his house and they both work all day long.

Horrible accident. Said she was stuck on the tracks and at impact the third rail that is full of juice went into the first train car and ignited it. I'm with Biz on where to sit. a lot of my co workers are on that line…...
