a few weeksago there was a topic started on vacation. I posted when I was taking my vacation and gman sent me a pm inviting me to hunt with him at his place. we met up on Wednesday did some hanging out chatting and he showed me around his property. his place is top notch the time that he has spent doing the trails and maintaining them and the number of stand locations and how hes done each set is amazing. I didn't see any deer but it was 70 plus degrees out his neighbor did take an exceptional buck and unfortunately gman found a beautiful 10 poached I sure hope they catch the guy. also gman cooked one hell of a tenderloin. I can't wait to get back out. thank you I had a great time

im on my way out to the cabin its going to be a long night I have a bunch of junk to unload and get my things ready for the morning hunt I won't get much sleep tonight but its well with it I haven't been out here since october 11th

. I honestly searched for that tire for a good 10 minutes I seen it go across the thruway and lost it after it hit the other side I searched threw the tall grass and over a fence in a backyard. I honestly was so thankful that the tire didn't hit anyone that was the only pay that scared the $hit out of me.

Each year I keep telling my wife that I want to try this but she won't comply lol

Went to big catch bait and tackle this morning my brother got a 8g & 9f signed them both over to me and I got 2 9a ill be trading a 9a for a 9w Im very pumped about that since I don't have a doe tag for out at my cabin.

Im glad you pulled over and were able to figure it out and stayed safe about 8 years ago I was going down the 33 heading to Cheektowaga for a job interview and my explorer started to shake I.pulled over looked it over can't find anything drive to the interview with it still shaking come out from the interview kick the tires look it over don't see anything wrong I should a felt the lug nuts I got back.on the 33 just passing the 290 entrance I'm doing around 65mph when all of a sudden the front diver side tire goes flying off right across the other side of the rd thank god it didn't hit anyone by the time I stop I don't have much left to my rotor the guy that was behind me ran up to my window yelling are you ok how did you stop without flipping lol He was all sorts of nervous and worked up some how I was cool and calm and didn't shake until After the tow truck came. Before the tow truck got there a cop pulled up and said if you can find your tire you.can put it back on and leave yea right all of my.lug nuts are gone and the tire is no where to be found

I did a short sit before work this morning I got done early left my hunting bag at the base of the tree and went to see if my ground blind blew away from the storm it was still there and in great shape. I head back to the stand to grab my bag and head out I get with in 50-60 yards from the stand and 4 deer take off they all looked small I grab my bag and head out another 100 yrds and 2 more fun then further asking I see 3 more dam I wish I could have sat longer this morning I've never done such a short sit before.

Loaded up the work truck ready to go for the day but not before I squeeze in a 1 1/2-2 hr hunt just did my drag line there's a steady breeze but in the right direction good luck everyone

Heckof an experience for you two to share hrs going to be so excited to tell all of his friends at school tomorrow. Gl with tracking in the morning I hope he didn'tgo to far and you have an easy tracking job

Same as doc I've never had much luck in the high winds. I've had some of my best hunts during rain storms

I don't go in tge woods without a grunt tube and of I some how forget my grunt tube I'll do a few series of deep burps. If I see a buck and he's walking away ill try and grunt him back and some times in the middle of a hunt ill give a few series of grunts every 45 minutes or so

Just got done repairing a 40' flag pole that wind had the lift bouncing all over the place If your out hunting in this today be extra cautious and hunt safe good luck
