I had shot this one at my cabin on Friday outside of Olean around 8 that morning. He had first came in around 20 yards but got spooked off by me. I then grunted at him where he came back around 35-40 yards out and took the shot. He had ran about 600 yards or so where I eventually retrieved him. And he is the first deer taken off of the property too!!

Where do bears go for the winter time?

My buddy and I were talking about going hunting tommorow, but it suppose to be around the mid 50s. Is it worth going out with the warm weather, I'm not sure how the deer will respond with the rut going on?

I actually just bought the arrowheads and love them. I got the 3.5 and they are comfortable to walk in, very light. I hunt flat areas but when going up hills they seem to be good.

In 9h, Im seeing more and more sign of scrapes and runs. Just no bucks though and for that matter does too.

MY dad told me a story of his friend who was hunting in the woods on opening day and had seen a nice 8 pointer. He took a shot and heard a click, loaded another one and nothing. later they found out when he cleaned the gun the other night he put the firing pin in backwards or something of that nature!
