The first thing your going to need is a really big gun I would at least have a 375 weatherby mag then I go with a pack of my favorite cigars a bottle of jack daniels just to stay warm dont forget the whole corn ,the c'mere deer and the truck so you have a steady rest out the window and just so you know your safe at least 2 bags of fresh made smoked jerky or maybe a fryed bacon sandwich just in case you need a snack LOL for real just be safe hunt hard and the main thing is the TP never know when a compass and a litte water is a must then the normal hunting things

All though it looks like a bad shot and the person that did this my be a shooter more so then a hunter dead is dead and frezzer meat is on the ground it my not be a shot you or I might take but it got the job done congrats to the SHOOTER

I dont care what he shoots as lone as hes not some tree hugger on here trying to stir things up cull buck or not shoot what you want share the pics and the hunt and have fun and good luck

What time is dinner lol my wife and I also ue the slow cooker we take a good beef stock with a med sliced onion 2 cloves garlic whole about haf a stick of butter need some fat lol with a little salt and pepper when its done 6 or so hours later take the sauce remove the garlic if you want make a simple rue gravy shred the meat make some taters or I like it over egg noodles mmmmmmmm and there is never leftovers lol

It is a great day when the wife gets one on the ground congrads great job

I have a plan to be in the stand today early afternoon will be there till I cant se my sights hunting in 4o and if we get a little rain and snow falling I will get one the big boys like the wet cold weather hehehe also I beleave its the calm before the storm still seeing bucks hanging out in groups good luck to all

I have asked one of the local DEC folks about 15 years ago at that time there was no law that stated drinking and hunting was illegal ITS NOT VERY SMART but then again I guess if you do drink and hunt welllll need I say more be safe and good luck

Fact is deer Have to eat every 8 to 12 hours, they are going to be up at least after 12 hours no matter what the weather. I have had some of my best luck within the first 10 or so hours after a storm started if the hunting hours are there. I shot my biggest buck right smack in the middle of a long heavy snow storm 5 years ago he was looking for love in the wrong place lol . Thats my take on the weather and hunting . But then again I am one of those guys that sits in the stand till noon and back in it buy 130 for the afternoon hunt good luck to all

WOW guess I need to look in to this a lot more I have been hunting every thing from turkey to crows with a xxxtra full on them stands to reason why I can kill the heck out of turkey with lead # 4 at 60 or 70 yards but cat hit the side of a barn from inside with steel shot lol

Its great to spend time outdoors with the family . My wife and I spend as much time in the woods as we can . Most of the time one of our 4 adult children are with us its always a good time enjoy every min. You never know when the next time will be

In my eyes the whole system is a mess it all needs to be reworked but then even if it was set the way some want the others would not want that the only way to get these folks to relook the laws over is to act as one and theres to many that disagree so lets just play by there rules and shoot some deer
