They are bottom feeders we had a $6000 racing 4wheeler stolen 2years ago right out of thr garage less then 60 feet from the house on a night i didnt park the trucks in the driveway so you tell me hummm some one was keeping an eye on it we did get it back after they stripped the motor and tranny off got a bustted a$$ one back had to rebuild every thing and no one was charged found out just a few months later it was a local deputy sheirffs kid the trooper that investgated did the father a favor so my three boys went for a ride one night to a local young people party site and hung out guess who showed up on is (newly rebuilt wheeler) any ways some redneck justice got done and the fines were worth every penny.... Keep in mind SCUM BAGS BRAG ABOUT THE STUFF THEY DO THERE OWN MOUTH WILL GIVE THEM UP MOST TIMES talk to the younger folks and they will find out who the theifs are sorry for your loss
  2. congrats on the big doe and it was good to see the younger one with you get her shooting and draging lol i had all my kids in the stand at a young age and they all hunt
  3. We hunted the am from one stand till a rabbit hunter came past with dogs it was 55 degs when we got out of the stand back home by 8;55 did some things in the man cave. Went to a stand we alwasys see deer for the afternoon hunt it was 74 degs at 4;45 pm never seen a deertill after shooting light. As we drove the route home they were just coming out of the woods your call. Me any time in the woods with family is a good time the kill is extra and the meat is gravy lol be safe have fun

  5. i use a double 16 or 18 foot ladder stand the wife goes and sits the just a hand made ground blind from limbs and brush (the wife also goes to keep me awake ) lol

My wife just had surgery 2 1/2 years ago and some treatment all is good so far also some one in the hunting party always has some kind of pink camo on and yes even me I told the wife if she was strong enough to beat it i was strong enough to wear pink even camo .

Did not get out till today oct 2 and its 855 am and im sitting at the dinning room table typing to you peps seen 10 doe and fawns 3 little guys not ready to be stuck ............. till the guy came though my stand sight with his beagles running rabbits on posted land so we had words and so the morning stand was a bust now to go to the man cave got to fix one of the kids vehicles ram 1500 front wheel barrings so with any luck will be back in the afternoon stand @ 3.45 415 then it will be a good day always see and get a shot at some thing most first days from that setup good luck to all and be safe
  9. About 10 years ago one of the hunting buddys took an 8point in rifle season opening day in area 4o that was still in full velvet tring to get him to send me a photo so I can post DEC said it was a young deer 2 1/2 year old and had know idea why it never rubbed off just a funky deer

I have hunted many years and many ways the best i have found is the 99% sent killer system my wife and I are ground hunters or low stand hunters 12 16 feet off the ground wash evry thing with thier laundry soaps and dryer sheets i use sent free not the dirt sent and place it a plastic bag sealed after getting to the area spray every thing and your boots I also use buck bombs a little as im going in to the stand not alot too early or rut sents and then wait then (aim small miss small) and hang and feast good luck and be safe
  11. Remington single shot chambered in 243 with 100 gr hornady with a bussnell 3x9x50 good for around 400 yards has never failed me. In the brush use a remington mod 742 with 150gr remington core lock open sights

Sounds like you are doing the right thing wheeleman its some times not about how green the cash is its how you help some one my family has the same set up with some folks around us we help with chores fences and things and we have may acres to do what we want with and after the season is over we hunt yotes and trap furs and shoot small game great people i even offered to cut there fire wood one year for one of the owners his reply was i might be a little older then you but im not dead yet lol one faimly even put in the deed when they sold it that me and my family have life time rights and so far they have been great with it . keep up the good work you should have a good spot for years to come

I have taken two yotes with my bow as my wife and I were in brush made ground blinds the first was an afternoon hunt and the other was a morning sit no calling just the wife and I sitting (wife with me so I dont snore and spook the deer ) lol just joking shes my third eye and ears anyways it is fun and I have both mounted and on the wall in the man cave only had to mouse call with my lips to get them to stop for the shot and both were less then 15 yards away
  16. cant really see the whole body im guessing 2- 2 1/2 years it really dosent matter if it looks good put it down thats the great thing about hunting its up to the shooter I try to take a nice doe with the bow so i have meat then i look for the soup stirer's in my family we fill frezers first and if the big one comes past he goes down

  18. Folks remember this as you look on life and work !!!! If you are not working for your self you have no control over what happens in the job market . Just a fact all you are is just a number to the corporate bosses .I have been in and out of many jobs in my life staying many years with some and even after 70 to 80 hours a week got the ax by some one that sits in front of a screen and counts numbers so if you think your safe you are not . In the words of the great Bob Seger I FEAL LIKE A NUMBER just my in put And i have razed 4 children own my house may cars trucks and man toys and love my wife of 30 years have a great day and hunt safe
  19. If any thing the family comes first any one that go's in a tree stand with out tieing in is just a fool and not thinking of the core the family my heart go's out to the family that lost but its the choose's we make today that leave our mark on tomorrow be always safe and have fun

  21. you will not know how much more snow and cold theres a man on the grassy knole behind the brick wall with a registered AK so one of the 7 rounds will kill that damn woodchhuck and the casings are ingraved so that the shooter will be found quick and brought to justice lol
