They said this one was most likely a pet that got to big and was released in the woods.I heard stories of a mtn,lion up your way a couple years back.I heard one was even hit by a car on the Taconic.

A 22 well do the job on a coon no problem.Just be sure it is legal where you are hunting.Some places in NY it is not to hunt with a rimfire. Read the regs.

I finally got a chance to give the 750 a look this weekend,when a Winchester model 70 Featherweight caught my eye.So I walked out thinking which gun I want more.I would love a semi auto but the model 70 felt so nice.The wife thinks I'm crazy said get the 750 because you know your gonna get the other too.

They were between Middle Town and Bear Mt. On both sides.

I saw 4 dead deer on rt 17 this Saturday,two looked like full grown deer.

Looks like a good bear to me.Great shots you have that camera in a good location. -
A buddy of mine tried Fed,Fusions last season very unhappy with them.Bullets did not open at all on impact.He said he well never stray from core loks again.
