Hunted am Mon day let a does and spike walk the spike made a rub at 20 yards for a few mins. Also hunted full day tues saw nothing in my morning spot where I saw the three bucks last week then switched to where I've been seeing all the does and saw just that all does nothing chasing. Going back out again Fri for a few hours before work then up to my property in Sullivan for sun and Mon.

Leaving the stand this afternoon for trick or treating I stumbled upon someones fawn shooting that they didnt care to retreive I guess not sure why anyone would shoot such a small deer but whatever. How do you guys feel about deer movement and hunting within say 100 yards of a dead deer? Kind of fresh no real smell yet prob this weekends amatuer hour.

Headed out today after football both spots ive scouted full headed in blind to another set up and quiet at 4 (late!) and with 30 left of shooting light a buck cruises by behind some brush 50 yards out at 12o'clock of me grunting and on a mision. Nothing would stop him can, grunt. Well long morning tomorow dark-2ish then a full day tues hopefully I don't need tues. tomorow am is supposed to be COLD. Hopefully Illl be alone I love weekdays

I dont know if I should do a long morning and risk the wind keeping me out of the trees or waiting for a short afternoon and run the risk of overcrowdedness keeping me out my spot.

I have hunted pretty much two or more days a week since Oct 1st and have been inundated with does every trip but one the reason I havent taken one is I lack a doe tag and don't want to use my either sex. This last trip out was my first that u saw bucks and a few also I noticed in the last week rut sign has sparked up. Hopefully now a buck will present a easy shot like the does have been.

I hunted yesterday on LI and was raining and blowing all day and cold saw a lot of deer including a nice buck and a 6 chasing a doe.

Me too I'm dying headed out Sunday for am till noon before sons game.

Good deer movement today full day hunt doe sparically thru the day then consistant from 4 on first buck sighting a spike, a nice 6 , and a beautifull 8 or maybe 10 (binocs thru brush). Bucks neever closer then 75 yards.

Headed out for a full day thursday in the rain, it's the only day I can swing this week so regardless of weather I'll be out.

Saw an abundance of new sign last time out full day out on thurs going to hunt the sign qnd and rattle grunt and bleat.

Saw about 15-20 does i stopped counting and i think this 1 button buck i keep seeing all in range on Fri night sat from 2 until dark, Same spot sat. evening a few less this night only 6 doe same time frame, new spot sun am sunup- 930 onlyone deer from behind at 100 yards i beleive it was a buck.

This evening I experimented with cider I heated it up added a cinnamon stick and a few oz. of sailor jerry rum not sure how der would like it but I loved it

I smelled the acorn rage bomb someone was playing with in the store. I don't know how that would work on deer but I think if you have bear in your area i would try not to get any on you. What is the scent rules and legalities deer hunting. Bear hunting is 1 oz. I beleive but if you put this out for deer and most bear are shot while deer hunting...

My brother saw one in our property on the 16th. Probably only 225 but 1st bear with a bow thats what mine was he said he will take it if he sees it again.

In the,stand now had one watch ten min of climber set up from 100 yards then bolt that's one tjat won't be back

Hunted my property in Sullivan yesterday. Suprise day today only a half day of side work set-up then to the deer woods for an after. I will report from the stand. Hopefully today today is the day.

As long you don't consider trying the Code Blue deer crap. I like Code Blues products but that is rediculous.
