  1. I'm more of a conceal guy, but I could live with that.
  2. I carry on me (almost 30 years now) but don't keep one it the truck. Before i got a short arm I kept a Marlin semi .22 in the truck all the time.
  3. Agree ... Those Remmy pumps are real good, if you can find one. A friend has an old one in .35 Rem. I've been offering to buy it off him for the past 20 years...he wont sell it. I'll keep trying

  9. Dont let her bother you Grouse...Obviously just a liitle punk.
  10. The owner only expressed his OPINION on gay marriage..( 1st amendment) thats all. He didnt say he refused to serve or hire gays. Matter of fact he serves and empolys gays every day. The fact of the matter is that the left is totaly intolorant of anyone who does not march to their beat. It's their way or be attacked. Almost all mulims and African Americans are against gay marriage. Will the left protest them??? NOPE!! Cowards.
  11. Good look'n bow.. Seems to be nice and compact too.

  13. King Boomberg is out of control. Glad I dont live down there
  14. I hear ya...you're right...... the bigger the cal. the better. But when someone wants a really small, concealable gun its .380 all the way. There are good effective loads out there for close range. In cooler months, when I wear a little more clothes, I carry a .40 S&W. I just don't want people to see that I carry. I was in Wallyworld (Central Square) this past week. There was a guy in there , did'nt look to be a cop', he was in shorts, T-shirt and flip flops. He was showing off his full sized Glock on his hip. It was like he wanted everyone to see how big and bad he was!!! (GAY!) I just kept thinking that if some nut wanted to come from behind him and grab that gun...he would have a good chance of getting it..... Just me I guess..... Conceal
  15. Larry302... I hear ya. But I was never a big "bash the 380" guy. for a real small, really concealable in your face and up close pistol it's real good.( especially with modern ammo) My first carry gun was a Ruger 2" Security six .357mag. It was so big I never carried it. Then I bought a Walther PPK in .380 and carried it every day for 20 plus years. I still carry a .380 in the summer time. do your homework and test your ammo at the range. I fire into wet phone books. The cridical defense stuff is good at close reange. Mag-tech Gaurdian gold is real good too.
  16. Amen Gunner1.......So comp. shooters, trap shooters or any other legal responsible , non sick piece of crap, who buys ammo in bulk in not normal or god fearing?????? In the words of Dr. Evil...... rrrrright!!!!
  17. People buy ammo in bulk because, like anything else, its way cheaper. I know guys who shoot 1000+ rounds a month all summer, pistol and rifle. Anyone really think that this sick piece of sh..t would not have gone on a killing spree RightR if he only had 2 or 3 boxes of ammo at home??? REALLY???. Right
  18. ha-ha-ha-ha.......Soy!! ......Thats live'n!!!!!

  20. I have never even shot this round but an old timer who hunts property near ours has been using a 25-06 for a while, and he drops deer ( at a distance) all the time. His is a bolt gun ....I think its a Win. 70. Knowing him he just shoots the cheapest factory ammo. So hand loads would be that much better.. PS..... I'm a lefty too. ..So if you decide not to buy it let me know!!! (big smile)
  21. I shot 125gr. Thunderheads ( fixed blades) for years, with real good results. Two years ago i got a new, much faster, bow and went with 100gr. Rage mechanicals, mainly because a friend raved about how good they shot in faster bows. I shot one buck with them the first year, at about 15 yds. . Not all that impressed. I hit a little bone and he didn't go far but he was still alive when I found him. I hate that. The arrow was about 1/3 into the deer. I have made similar shots with fixed blades and they seemed to smash right through. Rage dosn't have the hardened chistle point like most fixed heads do. Another buddy of mine shot at a big buck last year with a rage broadhead, only to watch his arrow fly way off to the right. Turns out that one of the blades popped out when he released because one of the O-rings that hold the blades back, had slipped off or dry rotted or something. One more thing to worry about. I went back to fixed last year. 100gr. Rocky's

  23. I agree with take it and leave a note. A couple of years ago, the land owner, who's property I hunt, found a cam on his land. He took it and replaced it with a posted sign that had his phone # on it. A day or two later a guy called. The owner told him to meet him at the farm and sure enough the next afternoon two guys in their 20;s showed up with their tails between their legs. I thought the one kid was gonna cry. After the owner gave them a little bit of a hard time he gave them the came back and they left..No problems since.I think that if they realize that you know who they are they, more than likely wont be back. WNYBuckhunter's idea is just mean!!!LOL
