I built this T/C Hawken from a kit about 40 years ago and have taken many deer with it. I've always used T/C Maxi-Balls and Pyrodex powder with a No. 11 percussion cap. It worked from the start so I never saw a need to experiment with other options. I have it to hunt in the ML deer season. I have considered getting a .32 for squirrel and a flintlock as well, but unless an opportunity presents itself that I cannot turn down, it will most likely not happen. You have some fabulous rifles there. Do you make them to sell?

Yep, laws like the SAFE Act, written by people who have no clue how firearms work, will always spawn new adaptations designed to COMPLY with the law. Then the tyrants in power oppress the new methods of compliance and threaten the citizens who used their freedom of choice and understanding of the law to buy one of the adaptations because it suits their needs the best. Gun control never stops. They anti's are never satisfied. They want all guns banned. They just have to do it incrementally to achieve that goal, so as not to create an outrage against their tyranny they wouldn't be able to stop. The govt puts a stop to anything it doesn't like, not through the due process of law, but through tyrannical threats to revoke the govt granted license required to do business. It a great system of power and control and it's being used to destroy your freedom and individual rights. Keep voting for people who support the system and it guarantees you will get much more of it.

In 2020 you had a choice between Biden and Trump. Who did you vote for? If it wasn't for Trump, it was for the corrupt candidate. Name me some corrupt Republicans that have not been thrown out of office. The left doesn't believe they are well informed. The left believes in lying to you and keeping the truth hidden. The left believes in ignoring, or lying about the results of their policies. Anyone who supports them is not informed at all, they're fools. I have little hope of making a difference, because no matter how much info I supply to people, most act like idiots when they hear it and keep right on trucking. People get the kind of government they deserve. I just need to remind them they're dragging the rest of us to hell with them.

That's what we put Trump in the White House to do. Look how many morons in the land supported every underhanded ploy to stop him. Until people start being smarter when they vote, it won't change. We don't need anything other than what we already have. Stay informed, don't be stupid, and stop voting for leftists and corrupt people like Biden. If that's not enough for you there are plenty of Conservative groups out there trying to educate the clueless masses too. Join them. Yes some Republicans are corrupt, but the majority of leftist Democrats are. And if they're not, they belong to the party that supports them.

This is nothing but a ploy by leftists politicians to make their clueless supporters think anyone who chooses to live free and not bow to government oppression, is a danger to them all. They're are not being excluded. They are being given preference. That's crazy. It automatically limits the pool of candidates based on race and gender, eliminating many far more qualified candidates. Reagan was wrong to do it too.

Hochul should've been stopped from extending the State of Emergency in the first place. The science doesn't back up the need for it and this mandate abuse was predictable from the day she did it.

And that's how they are winning. If gun owners were united in one organization that would fight these things, representing a huge voting block that could toss any anti-gun politician out on his ass, these violations of your rights would never happen. The Constitution already prevents this type of bribery. It's classified as a "high crime" and "treason" when it's influence peddling to a foreign power. I'm trying to inform the clueless, the govt is corrupt from the POTUS, DOJ, FBI and down because they are doing nothing about it. Some people you elect ARE above the law when the govt is corrupt! Think about that. They say you are paying for a service. Since when can the govt require you to pay for a service they impose on you in order to exercise a Constitutional right? Since NY gun owners have agreed to go along with it, that's when. My friend in NJ tells me they even add sales tax on to the cost of the NICS fee, because it's a service.

Only because gun owners have voluntarily agreed to allow it. The only way they can take our rights is when we voluntarily give them up, or by force. Would the govt be Constitutionally allowed to add hundreds of fees and charges to your permit anytime they wished? If gun owners allow it, they can. Anti gun politicians want your guns and could easily remove your gun rights by making you pay $100,000 a year for a permit. Why don't they? They could only get away with it if nobody fought it.

Why is that?

I don't think making people pay a fee for exercising a Constitutional right will stand up to legal scrutiny, and the money will probably be used to further the attacks on the responsible gun owners forced to pay it.

The lack of an official announcement yesterday from the Court itself is remarkable, and it tells us a great deal — namely, that Breyer himself wasn't ready to make the announcement. In a faux show of solidarity, Breyer will attend Joe Biden's remarks on his retirement at 12:30 this afternoon. But make no mistake: He's being put out to pasture; he's being kicked to the curb in favor of an as-yet unnamed black woman. So it goes in the race-obsessed world of the Left. How do we know Breyer's replacement will be a black woman? Because Joe Biden promised as much on the campaign trail, and because White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed it yesterday: "The president has stated and reiterated his commitment to nominating a black woman to the Supreme Court and certainly stands by that." Moreover, Biden will choose the next Supreme Court justice based on skin color and female chromosomes because that's what he and his fellow Democrats have been reduced to: buying votes by doling out identity-based favors. U.S. importing more oil from Russia: Thanks to Joe Biden's killing of the Keystone XL Pipeline, along with other aggressive policy actions against America's oil and gas industry, the U.S. is now having to import more foreign oil. Increasingly, this oil is coming from Saudi Arabia and Russia. Under Donald Trump, the U.S. had become a net exporter of oil and was well on its way to becoming energy independent. Americans were enjoying lower gas prices and a roaring economy, but Biden has turned it all around, ensuring that the U.S. becomes ever more dependent on foreign oil and hamstringing our ability to challenge dangerous foes like Vladimir Putin.

Biden's vaccine mandates have proven only to exacerbate the current supply chain crisis, and instead of working to relieve the problem, his administration is literally implementing rules to make the problem worse. An estimated 20% of Canadian truck drivers have not received the COVID vaccine — a vaccine that doesn't prevent infection or transmission, by the way — and will no longer be allowed to haul goods such as lumber into the U.S. One of the biggest ironies here is that the Biden administration still has no vaccine mandate policy for the millions of illegal immigrants pouring into the U.S. across our wide-open southern border. Meanwhile, Mexican truck drivers who seek to enter the U.S. legally through ports of entry to deliver goods will be turned away if they fail to produce a vaccine passport. That's life under the backwards Biden administration.

The nation's supply troubles might have just gotten worse following the Department of Homeland Security issuing yet another COVID vaccine mandate. A new U.S. port regulation recently went into effect mandating that noncitizens may not enter the U.S. through ports of entry unless they have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. While the new mandate does not apply to American truck drivers, it does apply to all Canadian and Mexican drivers. Furthermore, both Canada and Mexico have implemented similar rules, effectively preventing U.S. truck drivers from hauling cargo internationally if they have not been vaccinated. Ergo, even as the latest wave of Omicron appears to be peaking and is on the downswing in many states, the Biden administration seems intent on doing everything possible to stymie America's economic recovery. With inflation at a 40-year high (7%) and the cost of goods eating up more and more of working families' budgets, the Biden administration is ensuring that both imported and exported goods will jump in price and decrease in availability. Meanwhile, the dearth of drivers within the American trucking industry has gotten so bad that the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration just approved a rule change allowing for a new program to train individuals as young as 18 to be permitted to drive big rigs across state lines. The previous minimum permissible age was 21. This is not necessarily a bad decision — think of all the 18-year-olds serving honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces. However, it also doesn't fill the current gap of more than 80,000 drivers needed to haul goods across this country.
