Economic relief related to the pandemic is the goal of Executive Order 14002. Translation: The government will redistribute even more of your great grandchildren's money to fix the government-caused economic crisis blamed on the pandemic. Trillions have already been spent, with trillions more on the way. -

McConnell is worried about keeping the GOP from imploding. He's not concerned with what's best for the country. He knows the truth. There was a ton of fraud in the election, the left is trying to legalize all of it in the future and Trump never told anyone to riot in the Capital. Liz Cheney didn't represent her constituents when she turned on Trump and her voters are furious with her. She isn't the only one in the Congress that is being criticized by the people they represent. I also see a number of leftist Democrat Governors are looking at recalls by their citizens. It's good to see these traitors to America being held accountable by the constituents they are supposed to represent. Trump has much more support among people in this country than the swamp dwellers in DC want you to believe. -
Oh really? They will be back. They don't admit it was wrong to be so antiscience. With more pressing issues such as the pandemic underway, the senator felt “this isn’t the time to focus on this right now,” Catie Stewart, a spokesman for Sen. Scott Wiener, told The Sacramento Bee on Monday.

San Francisco boomed during the Gold Rush and had been a symbol of American ingenuity and prosperity. Now it’s home to would-be corporate overlords. These autocrats use their market dominance to threaten and shut down lawful businesses that engage in – or even with – industries that displease them. They’re more than willing to bend or misapply their own declared rules if it means hurting the “right” people or industries. Rosanna and Michael Sharps ran a gift shop in the Sierra Nevada foothills selling memorabilia like that which visitors could have found in shops during the Gold Rush. They sold clothing, books, and toys. They don’t sell firearms; they sell non-firing replicas of 18th and 19th century firearms that cannot be modified into a working firearm. These are display pieces and toys. This merchandise was approved by the California Department of Parks and Recreation, which granted the Sharps the contract to operate their shop in the Columbia State Historic Park. If a California government agency authorized the replica firearms, it can safely be assumed that these are in no way remotely close to an actual firearm. Just as the Parks Department contracted with the Sharps to run the shop, the Sharps contracted with Square, Inc., for the services necessary to run a modern business. They used Square for “cash register, payment processing, an e-commerce website, shipping services, gift cards, rewards program, customer feedback, curbside pickup, marketing campaigns, and payroll services.” After two years of building their business around the Square platform, Square terminated the Sharps’ account. The Sharps believe the non-firing replicas and toys sparked the ire of Square, but the corporation won’t give them a specific reason. The Sharps were forced to shut down both their physical shop and their online store Square is run by the same CEO as Twitter – Jack Dorsey. Dorsey is quite willing to limit access to his platforms – which the small businesses like the Sharps’ paid for – based on his own shifting personal agenda. Dorsey uses unpredictable and arbitrary reasoning to spontaneously terminate his clients’ accounts on Square. Dorsey and anti-gun, anti-freedom people like him are entitled to their views. The astounding piece of this story is that Dorsey’s company did business with the Sharps for two years before determining that the Sharps’ existing merchandise was displeasing to those in the San Francisco tower. We’ve seen this story before, though usually companies like Square go after firearms manufacturers or sellers. Now they’re targeting a small business for selling toys deemed acceptable by California. Square claims that they “believe everyone should be able to participate and thrive in the economy.” That should be amended to “everyone who does not believe in, or appear to believe in, the individual right to keep and bear arms.” The Sharps violated no law and yet their business has been shut down. Cutting off financial services is a path favored by the professional anti-gun activist class, who have not been able to have their gun control dreams enacted by law. If gun shops and manufacturers cannot be outlawed, the gun controllers seek to make them impossible to operate. Efforts to change the American tradition of gun ownership, to shift the gun-owning culture of the United States, catch small businesses like the Sharps’ that have nothing to do with operational firearms. We know the Biden Administration wants to overturn the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act that protects firearms manufacturers and sellers from frivolous lawsuits designed to bankrupt them. Only time will tell if President Biden permanently blocks the protections against discrimination in banking President Trump established. -

The cost of producing electricity has dropped significantly in the last decade. So why haven’t we seen those price drops reflected in our electricity bills? Charles McConnell, former Assistant Secretary of Energy in the Obama Administration, answers this riddle. https://www.prageru.com/video/why-are-utilities-so-expensive/?utm_source=Main+Mailing+List&utm_campaign=4f88850cd9-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2020_04_09_06_29_COPY_01&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_f90832343d-4f88850cd9-172460857

Nine ways Biden is like a 3rd world dictator 1. Rule by executive order. 2. Putting a predecessor on trial. 3. Censorship of opposition. 4. Attacking the private sector. 5. Exploiting identity politics. 6. Challenging judicial independence. 7. Purging former officials. 8. Encouraging a slavish media. 9. Military in the streets. -

It Snowed Last Night.. 8:00 am: I made a snowman. 8:10 - A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn't make a snow woman. 8:15 - So, I made a snow woman. 8:17 - My feminist neighbor complained about the snow woman's voluptuous chest saying it objectified snow women everywhere. 8:20 - The gay couple living nearby threw a hissy fit and moaned it could have been two snow men instead. 8:22 - The transgender man..women...person asked why I didn't just make one snow person with detachable parts. 8:25 - The vegans at the end of the lane complained about the carrot nose, as veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with. 8:28 - I was being called a racist because the snow couple is white. 8:31 - The middle eastern gent across the road demanded the snow woman be covered up . 8:40 - The Police arrived saying someone had been offended. 8:42 - The feminist neighbor complained again that the broomstick of the snow woman needed to be removed because it depicted women in a domestic role. 8:43 - The council equality officer arrived and threatened me with eviction. 8:45 - TV news crew from ABC showed up. I was asked if I know the difference between snowmen and snow-women? I replied "Snowballs" and am now called a sexist. 9:00 - I was on the News as a suspected terrorist, racist, homophobe sensibility offender, bent on stirring up trouble during difficult weather. 9:10 - I was asked if I have any accomplices. My children were taken by social services. 9:29 - Far left protesters offended by everything marched down the street demanding for me to be arrested. Moral: There is no moral to this story. It is what we have become, all because of snowflakes. -
RIP to America 1776-2021 This was posted in reply to Fox News. Well said. For those who don't get it! Now you understand why there was never any action against the Clintons or Obama, how they destroyed emails and evidence and phones and servers, how they spied and wiretapped, how they lied to FISA, had conversations on the tarmac, sent emails to cover their butts after key meetings, how Comey and Brennan and Clapper never were brought to any justice, how the FBI and CIA lied, how the Steele Dossier was passed along, how phones got factory reset, how leak after leak to an accomplice media went unchecked, why George Soros is always in the shadows, why Romney and Paul and Bush and McCain were all involved, why they screamed Russia and pushed a sham impeachment, why no one ever goes to jail, why no one is ever charged, why nothing ever happens. Why there was no wrongdoing in the FISA warrants, why the Durham report was delayed. Why Hunter will walk scott free. Why the FBI sat on the laptop. Why the Biden’s connection to China was overlooked as was unleashed the perfect weapon, a virus that could be weaponized politically to bring down the greatest ever economy and usher in unverifiable mail in voting. Why the media is 24/7 propaganda and lies, why up is down and down is up, right is wrong and wrong is right. Why social media silences the First Amendment and speaks over the President of the United States. This has been the plan by the Deep State all along. They didn’t expect Trump to win in 2016. He messed up their plans. Delayed it a little. They weren’t about to let it happen again. Covid was weaponized, Governors helped shut down their states, the media helped shame and kill the economy, and the super lucky unverifiable mail in ballots were just the trick to make sure the career politician allegedly with hands in Chinese payrolls that couldn’t finish a sentence or collect a crowd, miraculously became the most popular vote recipient of all time. You have just witnessed a coup, the overthrow of the US free election system, the end of our constitutional republic, and the merge of capitalism into the slide toward socialism. What will happen next? Expect the borders to open up. Increased immigration. Expect agencies like CBP and INS and Homeland Security to be muzzled or even deleted. Law enforcement will see continued defunding. The electoral college will be gone. History erased. Two Supreme Court Justices might be removed. The Supreme Court will be packed. Your 2nd Amendment will be attacked. If you have a manufacturing job or oil industry job, get ready. If you run a business, brace for impact. Maybe you’ll be on the hook for slavery reparations, or have your suburbs turned into Section 8 housing. Your taxes are gonna go up, and businesses will pay more. I could go on and on. There is no real recovery from this. The elections from here on will be decided by New York City, Chicago, and California. The Republic will be dead. Mob rule and appeasement will run rampant. The candidate who offers the most from the Treasury will get the most votes. But the votes voted won’t matter, just the ones received and counted. That precedent has been set. “Benjamin Franklin was walking out of Independence Hall after the Constitutional Convention in 1787, when someone shouted out, ‘Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?’” Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.” Ladies and gentlemen, you will now lose your Republic. You turned from God. You turned from family. You turned from country. You embraced degeneracy culture. You celebrated and looked to fools. You worshiped yourselves selfishly as you took for granted what men died to give you. You disregarded history and all it teaches. On your watch, America just died a little. It’s likely she’ll never be the same again. Some of you have no idea what you’ve done. Sadly, some of you do. William Klippel So here’s some interesting info on the Keystone Pipeline... The irony is that the Keystone pipeline from Alberta, Canada to Port Arthur, Texas ALREADY delivers more than 550,000 barrels of oil per day. So what did President Biden cancel? Oil production in Alberta will double in the next decade and the current pipeline is at full capacity. The plan was to add an additional pipeline next to Keystone called Keystone XL increasing capacity by an additional 830,000 barrels of oil each day. Without the added capacity the oil will be loaded onto tanker trucks and transferred to rail for its journey to the refineries on the Gulf Coast. This will increase the cost consumers pay for gasoline and emit more than a million tons of CO2 each year. The risks of environmental devastation are increased exponentially when you carry oil on our highways and through densely populated cities. Each year there are 500,000 trucking accidents in the US. The higher environmental and economic costs will result in higher oil prices that benefit countries like Russia, Iran, and Venezuela - by preventing the expansion of the Keystone the American people are basically funding their enemies. The REAL reason Democrats oppose the Keystone XL is that they want oil to get more expensive to hasten the adoption of solar, wind, and other renewable energy sources. Scientists predict we are at least 100 years from having the ability to reduce our dependence on oil. Hopefully saner heads will prevail and the courts will side with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and TransCanada in their lawsuit against President Biden. In the meantime, thousands of high paid union jobs will be lost and thousands more won't be created. Also worth noting it doesn’t end oil transportation it just forces oil companies to spend more money shipping oil on Warren Buffets rail lines. See how that works? It’s not environmental policy it’s a kickback to democrat donors and nothing more.

There's a big difference between policies based on reason and logic, and policies based on feel good theories. If the results don't accomplish the goal, the policy is flawed and needs to be rescinded. From VH: There are more productive ways for us to engage in this conversation, and suggesting that we arm teachers isn’t one of them. Where did you get this idea from? The proposal is to allow teachers who have concealed carry permits to take their guns to school with them. Nobody ever proposed forcing teachers to arm themselves against their will or forcing them all to become armed guards. That's anti-gun propaganda designed to spin the idea into something evil. It's a lie. If a teacher has a permit to carry, why should they not be allowed to carry on the job, especially when they are aware of the current school shooting situation? The problem is there are laws that prevent them from defending themselves in a worst case scenario. If a person has a right to self defense, and that right is denied by their employer, they should be able to sue the employer if any harm comes to them because of that denial. The law prevents them from doing so. So, they are defenseless and not protected by the school. That is the problem that needs to be corrected.

They guy who allegedly murdered the two young men is dead. I haven't heard what he died from, but I'll bet it was a gunshot wound. The eyewitness statement seems a little weird to me. I think there is more to this story than he says happened. But since he's the only one left alive, we may never know.

Rights are not gifts from government! And that's why I regularly urge people to stop using the phrase "constitutional rights" or "2nd Amendment right." For this implies that natural rights actually come from a document, which means that those with power will try to redefine or alter that document to destroy those rights.

Police in Chicago and NYC have been ordered to "stand down" during riots and fear punishment from the mayor if they do their jobs now, so they stand back and let it happen. They have been placed in a no win situation by their elected leaders. Until their Democrat leaders can disarm them, they will prevent them from doing their jobs. If they ever succeed in disarming them, it will be very hard to get anyone to be a cop in those cities.

Reminds me of a case not too long ago where deer hunters found a trespasser in one of their deer stands, got into an argument with him and he opened fire on them killing 3 or 4 of them.

Biden the typical hypocrite
Grouse replied to rob-c's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Congress needs to put a stop to this executive branch abuse of power. The President was never given the power to legislate or spend money not authorized by the Congress. The more one President is allowed to get away with it, the more the next one abuses it. I don't know where the idea the President has the power to legislate with executive actions came from, but according to the Constitution, no such power is granted. -
“The coming years will decide the survival of our Second Amendment,” President Trump warned before the election. Trump was right. During the 2020 campaign, Joe Biden promised a long list of gun control regulations. There is a reason that Michael Bloomberg spent $125 million helping Biden in Florida and something over $600 million nationally in the general election. The agenda includes: classifying many semi-automatic rifles and magazines holding more than 10 bullets as Class 3 weapons (which can require nine months or more for approval and a $200 fee), national gun licensing, “red flag” laws that let judges take away people’s guns without a hearing, background checks on the private transfer of guns, and bans on some semi-automatic firearms that happen to look like military weapons. The first gun control bill that Biden will push in his first 100 days would make gun makers and sellers civilly liable for misuse of guns they sell. That means people could sue manufacturers whenever a crime, accident, or suicide occurs with a gun. We aren’t talking about cases where there was a product liability issue or where laws are violated, such as selling a gun without a valid background check. While it isn’t stated, the goal is to put the gun makers out of business. Gun control advocates claim that the gun makers are responsible for any harm from their weapons because they specifically cater to the criminal market with low prices, easy concealability, corrosion resistance, accurate firing, and high firepower. Lightweight, compact firearms may appeal to criminals, but they also make life easier for the 19.5 million Americans who carry concealed handguns. Women are most likely to prefer smaller, lightweight guns. Many Democrats also try to blame gun makers for accidental deaths that they claim are “foreseeable.” Supposedly, manufacturers aren’t doing enough to make their guns child-proof. Nationwide in 2018, 30 children under 5, and 54 under 15, died from accidental gun deaths. But with 120 million people owning 300 million guns, accidental deaths from guns are far less “foreseeable” than from many other products. Gun owners must also be very responsible, or such accidents would be much more frequent. By contrast, nearly 100 children under 5 drown in bathtubs each year. Another 350 drown in pools. Should bathtub and pool makers be sued for the “harm” their products cause? What about bicycle makers for kids killed in accidents? Biden and Democrats want to ban guns. And if they abolish the Senate filibuster, as they keep threatening, they could do it. John R. Lott, Jr., “The Flawed Thinking Behind Biden’s Gun Control Bill,” Real Clear Politics, January 29, 2021.
