  1. You know sonny, you really have no clue what has been going on for the past four years, or what happened during the election. You just love it because Trump will no longer be President if this election is allowed to stand. What you also don't understand is, if this corrupt, fraudulent election IS allowed to stand, your vote in future elections will mean nothing and America will emulate the banana republics we have all been laughing at for decades. If what happened in the 2020 election isn't exposed for all the citizens to see and understand, election integrity in America will be dead, and that is the fastest way to destroy a representative republic. Trump NEVER colluded with Russia and your own Mr. Mueller could not provide any evidence that he did. You have many times stated there is no evidence of voter fraud, when there is, but don't seem to care there is no evidence of Trump colluding with Russia, as you keep repeating that lie. What Trump is doing, is what he has always done since he became President, and that is standing up for the citizens of this nation who are being oppressed by the corrupt powers that currently control this country. It's quite obvious which side of this issue you have decided to side with, but I don't believe you really know what it is you are supporting. Trump may be forced to leave office, but he should never concede. This fight will not end if he leaves either, because the consequences of not fighting this battle are horrendous. 70+ million voters are really angry and do not intend to allow the 2020 election to go unchallenged, ever. That makes Democrats and leftists really nervous, as they don't know how long they can continue to cover up the crimes. ( BTW, Harris is hedging her bets she may not become VP by refusing to resign from her Senate seat. She knows what happened ) So get used to the ongoing fight and side with whoever you wish, but none of your self righteous pronouncements are going to mean a thing in the long run.
  2. Years ago, I realized I had more firearms than I could ever use for anything other than range fun. What I did not have was enough ammo to last me for the rest of my life if a shortage occurred. Even then there were rumblings of issues caused by the anti's in government ( read Democrats ) that would cause shortages or vast price increases. I saw the hand writing on the wall. It was then that I ( and many of my friends ) started buying bulk ammo for everything I did use, whenever I saw it for sale at a bargain price. I also stocked up on needed reloading supplies. My biggest concerns were storing all that ammo in a controlled temperature environment, how much space it would occupy and how much it weighed if I needed to move it. Today I can see it was a good move and it paid off in large dollar savings. Recently, I've actually sold off a lot of the ammo I had that I knew I would never use before my time was up, and made a tidy profit when I did so. ( The prices being paid for ammo today are insane ) Even so, I still have a lot of ammo for every firearm I would ever really use in the future. Today I have the firearms I need and fewer that I just want. But I have enough ammo for the firearms I need, to last me the rest of my life without ever buying more. And as a last resort, I can reload the empties. The moral of the story is foresight. Just assume ammo will always be a good investment and stock up on as much as you can, when you can, as long as the price is right. You can only carry so many firearms at one time, so you don't need 100 firearms, unless you plan on outfitting your own platoon. What you need is plenty of ammo to feed the firearms that you really need. If I should go to my reward with a ton of ammo to my name, my son already knows what to do. Today my only concern is the government becoming aware of people like me and passing some oppressive law that says one can only be in possession of so much ammo. I've heard rumblings from anti-gun politicians ( All Democrats ) about that as well. I expect we will see that in the future too. To that I will say what I said to the Safe Act. I WILL NOT COMPLY! Is this still a free country? Sure, if being free to do only what they let you do, is your idea of being free.
  3. Airedale, love that little Franchi 20 ga. I almost bought one myself a few years back. Wish I did. GreenDrake, those Dickinson SxS guns are really nice. Enjoy it in good health for many years to come, and may many Grouse fall to it's thunder.
  4. If you are willing to drive about 1 hour further north, you can find some good spots to hunt.
  5. Yes, but as he said, they will make determinations of that kind on there own.
  6. Got my deer in the freezer and not planning on doing a lot of muzzle loader or yote hunting this year. Some, but not a lot, depending on the weather. This is when I get serious about winter Grouse hunting. Put in quite a few miles on Grouse in the fall, then stopped for deer hunting. Now that I have my fill of deer hunting, especially since sitting on stand is cold as hell, I want to start hunting Grouse again. Great exercise, beautiful landscapes and I love toting my little 28 ga CZ Ringneck SxS. Besides, nothing is better table fare than Ruffed Grouse. Need to get a few in the freezer. Also want to get one mounted in full flight with the tail spread out to hang on the wall. Been wanting that for years now and hooked up with a new taxidermist that does amazing work for a great price. Any other devotees to the sport of Grouse hunting in the snow here?
  7. Try tracking deer in good tracking snow. Nothing feels more like hunting then following a fresh track knowing that big buck is in front of you. It takes a lot of knowledge and skill too.
  8. Beautiful. I would not paint it camo. A waterproof stain maybe. Once the deer get used to it, they will ignore it. Do you plan to install windows and some type of heater?
  9. It's far from over. The SCOTUS only said Texas had no legal standing to sue the other states. The issues of fraud are still very much in play. Even if the SCOTUS allows Biden to become President, the issue of fraud in the 2020 election will continue to be investigated. A special prosecuted appointed by the DOJ is not accountable to either party and that autonomy allows for a lot of investigative power. An illegal political coup is what is being fought here.
  10. The welfare state will become an even bigger problem under a leftist Presidential administration. Today, federal spending on means-tested welfare accounts for roughly a quarter of the federal budget, and with the burden of repaying the debt placed on the backs of our children and grandchildren, Congress for decades has shown great "generosity" in divvying out money to the politically favored. Government-issued "charity" results in perverse outcomes. In order to issue this "charity," taxes must be raised on American workers. Higher taxes result in less family income, which results in a reduced ability to provide for the family's needs. Unable to make ends meet, the family turns to government and its "charitable" welfare programs, which provide food, housing assistance, cellphones, and so forth to those in need. The more people who use those programs, the more taxes are needed to fund them, so taxes must be raised to pay for increases in welfare spending. The more taxes are raised, the less families have to spend on their own needs, and the more they are forced to turn to government. It's a vicious cycle that leaves millions of Americans dependent on government, resentful of those providing the welfare, and victims of politicization of welfare payments and massive fraud within the programs. But it is a system the brings bigger government with more control over the masses, which is why leftists use it.
  11. Non compos mentis: "The push to reopen schools is rooted in sexism, racism and misogyny." —Chicago Teachers Union And... "Business owners are being arrested in America for just trying to earn a living. In America. Think about that. What a disgrace." —Lisa Boothe
  12. "Even if [Americans] don't know one of our 43 million friends and neighbors buried under 1.5 trillion dollars in federal student loan debt, they understand the need to boost our struggling economy. This is Econ 101: the best way to jumpstart our economy is to put more money in working families' pockets — money they can spend in their communities." —Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer So why not promote less government regulated free market capitalism and more good paying jobs in America, so people can afford to pay back the loans they voluntarily agreed to? Increasing the National Debt only shifts the debt onto the backs of taxpayers and will not make it disappear.
  13. Columbia Failed to Disclose $1 Million in CCP Funding Ivy League school maintains lucrative relationship with Confucius Institute Columbia University failed to disclose at least $1 million in Chinese government funding that went toward hosting a Confucius Institute, which the State Department has described as a part of Beijing's propaganda effort targeting U.S. students. The New York-based university is the only Ivy League institution to host a Confucius Institute, a controversial Chinese government-funded program that at its height operated in more than 100 U.S. colleges. Hanban, the Beijing-controlled entity that manages the Confucius Institute, pledged at least $1 million in donations to Columbia University, according to a Chinese state media report. Department of Education records show that Columbia never disclosed any such donations to the federal government. At least part of the Chinese government money went toward bringing on Prof. Wei Dedong, an adviser to the Chinese regime's propaganda department, to serve as the director of Columbia's Confucius Institute starting in 2016. Wei, who is an associate professor at Renmin University in Beijing, gave several lectures and organized events at Columbia, including a seminar on "China's regulation of religious affairs" in Tibet. He also oversaw the Confucius Institute's Mandarin instruction and grant programs for Columbia students. The outsized role of a Chinese government adviser in an Ivy League school is in line with widespread concerns about the Confucius Institute, which critics say is a propaganda apparatus that hopes to influence how young Americans think about China. The controversial program has prompted bipartisan concern in Congress. Government scrutiny has convinced dozens of schools to drop Confucius Institute partnerships, making Columbia University one of the last remaining high-profile universities with a Confucius Institute program. 14. China has plans for the US, and they are not in our best interests. By Thomas Gallatin This past summer, the FBI arrested six Chinese researchers for lying on their visa applications and for being suspected of engaging in efforts to steal intellectual property at the direction of the Chinese government. On Wednesday, the Justice Department announced that 1,000 additional Chinese "researchers" had fled the country. Coincidence? Assistant Attorney General John Demers explained that the arrests "allowed us to message the Chinese government: If you're going to send individuals here, you've got to do so honestly and you can't hide their affiliation to the Chinese government and the Chinese military." However, according to another anonymous official, the number of Chinese researchers that left the U.S. surprised the DOJ: "The breadth and depth of the exodus was not expected, but it was appreciated." Analyst Gary Bauer, however, argues that the DOJ's "surprise" regarding the number of Chinese individuals engaged in espionage is confounding. "For the past 30 years, 'cultural exchange' programs with China have flourished in the United States, all the while facilitating Beijing's aggressive espionage efforts," Bauer writes. Yet, he adds, "Previous administrations of both parties generally ignored it, too afraid of upsetting the status quo." The scope of Beijing's efforts to spy on and steal intellectual property from the U.S. should be an obvious indication of which country stands as the greatest threat to America today. Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe certainly agrees with that assessment, as he labeled China the United States' number one security threat. In an op-ed published in The Wall Street Journal, Ratcliffe contends that China is gearing up to face off against the U.S. soon. "Beijing is preparing for an open-ended period of confrontation with the U.S.," he says. "Washington should also be prepared. Leaders must work across partisan divides to understand the threat, speak about it openly, and take action to address it." Ratcliffe then asserts, "This generation will be judged by its response to China's effort to reshape the world in its own image and replace America as the dominant superpower. The intelligence is clear. Our response must be as well."
  15. The New York Times's Lisa Lerer reports, "Of the 265 counties most dominated by blue-collar workers — areas where at least 40 percent of employed adults have jobs in construction, the service industry or other nonprofessional fields — Mr. Biden won just 15, according to data from researchers at the Economic Innovation Group, a bipartisan policy research group." So much for the one-time party of the working class.

  19. Other than the detachable magazine, no other "evil features". No bayonet lug as it is a commercial model.
  20. I sometimes hunt with an M1 Carbine and a 5 round magazine. Nothing is pinned or locked in place. Does this law apply to my rifle?
