I am in more favor of bigger deer, not necessarily bigger antlers. The funny part is guys will pass up a spike then shoot a button buck put a dmp on it and think it is ok. if antler restrictions are implemented, ti should also pertain to button bucks. If they never get past the button stage, then never make it to spike or bigger. Just seems hypocritical to me.

I only planted one plot so far. My garden is going great, but it gets watered every evening. Have had peppers cucumbers and cherry tomatoes and broccoli so far. Planted the weekend before memorial day. The corn field next to my property has stopped growing. My creek is dry and the swamp is pretty much sneaker area. We need rain bad. I am not going to plant until we do. Not gonna waste the seed and money.

lol they will just threaten to quit then whine when we say they are babies. I am actually going to work on being certified for bow with this class. Paperwork is in, just need to do the class. Then I will be dual certified and can post things for archery guys to tell me I am an instructor and what I need to say and think too.

As was op, it showed archery stopping on a friday, and ml starting the next day. But as stated both archery and ml season run the same week, so you can hunt with a bow. If one would have stopped and the other started, you couldn't. That was my point from the original post.

When I USED to hunt in areas where it was shotgun, I always used my muzzleloader. More accurate, and kills just as dead.

I prefer trespassers will be shot survivors will be shot again.

I would not think the lead would be any worse than the plastic fouling from the sabots. As stated by the fast one, a little elbow grease and you are good.

usually the early ml season is also archery in the northern zone. I wonder if they changed that. Archers will cry we took a week away.

I also hunt with a single shot. So I carry three extras. In quite a few years the only one I carry extra is used to replace one I fired.

My father in law used pyrodex pellets and had good results. Hr had a 50 cal cva staghorn. It shot them well with power belts. I can not remember the graisn as he has been gone now for 6 years. He liked the convenience. I have never used them. I like the idea of tweaking a load with 5 grain increments rather than being locked in and trying to finds the bullet that fits my powder load. Nothing wring with them, I guess I am still too old school.

I have two now. Nick has been gone for well over a year. I guess when you divorce the owners daughter, they do not like it. I was told by the guys at MU as long as there is a market, they will make plugs. It has been a money maker for them. I like the 44 bullet more because I have a mold and make the bullets so it is a financial decision mostly. I put a new scope in the sidekick, so I have been dialing it in. My next project is the 45 encore bergara barrel. I keep gravitating back to the sidekick though. It is a shooter and I like the functionality as well as the fit to me. I hear the stories of guys shooting out the flash hole in the plugs. I do not think and Nick told me this himself that you could shoot enough in a life time to do so. I expect the two I have will do me a life time. Maybe I will order another just in case.
